The only store I know that accepts btc is Steam. Well, I think right now Amazon still has not accepted btc yet. It is not really possible for other malls and market to accept btc. The most valuable application of btc is international trading I guess

So far I know, there is no supermarket that accepts Bitcoin around me, I have experienced a lot of online platforms that have accepted Bitcoin as a payment tool. but the time has been changed, day by day Bitcoin is getting accepted in many renowned online platforms.
people also becoming familiar with Bitcoin day by day. Since there are some backwards of Bitcoin so that still Bitcoin is not available the across the world. I believe that when Bitcoin will be decentralized then supermarket and other online platforms will accept Bitcoin.
Umm…I think you are not having the good information about the bitcoin, if you were having get good information in this regard you must buy the bitcoin and then save it for the long time, I am having the good future with the bitcoin and I am able to buy the bitcoin for the long time, I am having the income of the bitcoin and the bitcoin will be the world wide currency in very short interval of time.
Oh it is the bad luck for the people in your country because the value of the bitcoin is very high for a lot of the people are the income of the bitcoin is very high if it is being use as the payment service in a lot of the countries, in my country bitcoin is getting famous and now a lot of people are buying the things using the bitcoin, the value and the importance of the bitcoin will be high as the time passing.
Unfortunately, they don't accept Bitcoin on supermarket here in our country. But I know the value and importance of bitcoin now a day. I'm expecting that btc gonna make a break through or a important discovery here in our country. What if I use bitcoin in the future to buy on supermarket, do you think I use some cards ( bitcoin card??? ) or what. Just wondering Smiley

In our place, Not yet, We already knew that bitcoin could be used as currency but only few people knew about it. This makes me realized that its not too late to invest bitcoins and if ever many areas can bitcoin intrude specially in malls and supermarket i confidently state that bitcoin will surge once again to its remarkable price and everybody will enjoy the benefits of it:)

Let put ourselves on the shoe of the owner. In my cognitive evaluation on veracity of bitcoin popularity and numbers there is a big market if I do accept bitcoin as payment and option for a better marketing strategy but the government is not declaring it legal and how would do I compute the taxation.
I do not see how all the things you have mentioned should be a problem. Legality is only going to be a problem if it has been declared illegal in your country and as long as your government hasn't that is just a piece of cake. Taxation also depends on you and how you want to go about it.

I understand that some government has introduced taxes and that will affect you when converting to fiats, but if that is not the case, then you can deem it fit to pay tax if you like. Afterall, taxes are charged on the product profit anyways.

If a big supermarket network start accepting Bitcoin on a country where it's not regulated, the government will start having interest about Bitcoins and will want to know more about it, so it can be a reason to regulate Bitcoin: Because some big businesses are using it and probably not paying taxes they should when using fiat.

It makes me think, what is better: To continue with low adoption, but unregulated, without calling much attention or to have high adoption, but with the government intervention...

The government already charges taxes over each product, it's true, but they want even more.

you say some good points hope government edit taxes system

Bitcoin will be the legal currency if the government will accept it and they will try to make the bitcoin the legal currency because now the bitcoin is getting very easy and soft for the income and the future of the bitcoin will be bright if the government service will get in the bitcoin, I am having the bitcoin and the profit of the bitcoin is now very easy and simple to earn and to make the other person get the profit and the income.

I'm not quite aware if there's any mall or supermarket around here that accepts bitcoin as a payment. But I'm positive that in the near future it will happen.

As of now there is none despite bitcoin being legalized in our country or is it ? i really dont know if it's accepted or not cause recently the government made some rules and regulations in using it. So i thought i can use it as payment for other businesses such as for example you have said supermarket but it seems there no store that is currently accepting bitcoin in my country.
so far we have not heard anything about supermarkets that accept bitcoin payment methods, no one has dared to speculate doing anything related to supermarkets that accept bitcoin, but it seems if this is backed up and adopted into real I think there will be many bitcoin users who transact there
it will really be a bit hard before we can start seeing some supermarkets making use of bitcoin as payment method. Some are not well informed and some are scared of its volatility whereas there are services that can automatically convert it to fiat if that is what they want.

The thing is, having stuffs like this will create more awareness and will make the importance and value of bitcoin to really be exploited.

Is there any Supermarket or Malls Accept Bitcoin near you ?
In the country where I live doesn't seem to be any supermarket or mall that receives payment with bitcoin, which I knowing only is a few restaurants that have already received a bitcoin payment, but that's far from my house (the city I live) only in certain places (island) which is often visited by foreign nationals only.

None. I lived here in the Philippines and I've been here in the bitcoin industry for at least 8 months now and i joined different groups here in the Philippines and I've seen that many people here in our country used bitcoin as their Full time job, Part time job and some uses it to play casino games and dice games. I may say that bitcoin here in our country is spreading fast but the country didn't consider it as legal nor illegal it's under rated. So the local stores here in our country have a lack of knowledge what really bitcoin is some says it's a money to buy illegal things, some says it's a scam.

The problem here in our country is even though there are many people using bitcoin as their job or uses it to earn we still are lack of knowledge about the coin and the opportunity it may bring and as a result. People don't accept bitcoin as a payment since it's under rated and they don't want to be in trouble that and some don't really know what it is.

That's why its so funny that in the Philippines we all believed that bitcoin is truly gaining more popularity however, not even one store that I know of that are accepting bitcoin as payment method specially in supermarkets. So I came into conclusion that in the Philippines, although it has many users and the community here is very much alive, its still a small percentage that really find and earn bitcoins. Although I don't believed that bitcoin should be your main source of living, but there's a lot of Filipinos found that route today. Maybe in the next coming years, just maybe, bitcoin will really became popular and accepted in the Philippines but not now.

I dont think a big industry or a size of super market is accepted crypto in mass adoption yet. I hope we will see something like this soon and will be using it for real purposes.

Yeah like this is an another milestone for bitcoin and this will be a big help to us because what we buy in supermarket are all basic necessities that we need for our daily needs. I'm very hopeful that this may happen in time.

In PH I think they accept Bitcoin as payment in Supermarket.
It might be possible that there is some supermarket in Philippines where they have given this facility to their customers that they can pay their bills in the form of bitcoin, but in my country and most of other countries, I don’t think so that there is any such kind of super market which is accepting bitcoin. It might be possible in the near future that this thing might happen but so far, there is nothing like that.

The only supermarket I know that's leading is Walt Mart but I don't have any news if they are going to adopt and accept bitcoin. It's going to happen and we'll see it that many supermarkets are going to accept bitcoin. Today they might not consider it as the population of bitcoin is still not that considerable for their business but once we've exploded up to 20%-50% of total world's population for sure there will be a consideration for those big leading supermarket or retailing companies.

Still since people will be paying in a physical shop more problems will probably rise e.g. fees and confirmation time, sufficient knowledge on staffs as bitcoin should be at least equally convenient as traditional payment systems so an increase of users may not be enough furthermore most governements are not in good terms with bitcoin but we'll see on the coming years as there will be changes although lets just hope it'll be good.

i have been hearing that big supermarket in my country accept bitcoin as the payment and i was thought that's true but very unfortunate through their official statement said this is not true and they even never considering bitcoin as their next payment method and currently only online shop available accepting bitcoin as the payment but besides that i didn't see any physical stores

Well there are many things to consider if a physical shop will accept it and honestly in a merchants point of view i don't think its a good idea to accept bitcoin at the moment although when it comes to online shops there'll only be minimal problems.

I think most of the people are  facing the same problem. In fact bitcoin shops are available in very limited area, the offline shops accept bitcoin in such area where the number of bitcoin users are more, but we can expect that i future will wil also be  able to use bitcon in our local shop because they will also start accepting bitcoin from the people.
