No, we don't have any supermarket that accepts bitcoin here, but we have bitcoin ATM in the mall so if you want to spend your bitcoin you may convert your bitcoin to the cash first then spend them. But I heard there are so many services like bitcoin visa debit card where you can buy literally anything, I don't have any experience with that card before but if this method really works well I think we don't need the merchant to accept bitcoin.

Bitcoin ATM has outrageous fees moreover i'm strongly doubting its security. As for bitcoin debit cards, they also have outrageous fees and seriously its unstable, there will be a countless temporary discountinuation of service just like whats happening now, apparently there was a change of regulation and most bitcoin debit cards providers have declared there will be a temporary discountinuation of service for users outside eu. We need merchants who will accept bitcoin directly without the need of some 3rd party services for conveniency and to kill those fees as well as freedom to fully use our bitcoin.

Even we have huge numbers of Bitcoin users in my country without proper legalisation by our government, supermarkets and malls will have no interest on it but for sure they’re thinking about this for sometime. 2018 is a another year to be hopeful for this things.

The problem with this is that merchants need a protection to the bitcoin volatility so they would need to charge a higher amount in their products than usual so that when the value of bitcoin goes down, they will still be in profit. They can avoid this if they also purchase their product in bitcoin so that volatility in the prices will not matter as the main currency is bitcoin but this is not happening yet because fiat is still the one use so the most convenient way to use crypto is still through debit cards may it be bitcoin or other cryptocurrency.

The same situation on where I'm living right now. I have a guess that there are thousands of users(100k I think) but still there is no proper adoption and still only few establishments are adopting  bitcoin for their payment methods. I can even count them with my two hands so they are literally few for my country with a lot of bitcoin users. Popularity of bitcoin is there as an investment but the adoption is still lacking of the real market here. Craving to see that the supermarket near my home will adopt it soon.

I don't know if I'm on the right mind yesterday, I'm not that good in English too and I guess I'm only from the first level - average level but I can't really understand the mole thing. So I was quite skeptic and really don't understand what he is asking about this. Well anyway still I'm serious on what I'm asking him anyway but let's forget about this thing, I'll interested to know these places and supermarkets who are accepting bitcoin now.

Because it would be deemed illegal if ever those certified markets are dealing with bitcoin. Technically bitcoin is not illegal but also it hold no title to the government and it is not taxable. So even if a market would have the initiative to innovate bitcoin in their payment, they might actually be breaking some rules or policies on their payment. And it's a hustle if ever because you to log in many things and what if their are many costumers. It will just take time.

In my country there is no supermarket, no website, no ATM. We are dependent only on the exchanger services. I don't have any option to spend my bitcoin unless I turned it to flat. Hope that is going to change soon.

There are no supermarkets nearby my place, at least as far as I know. What I do is to convert or transfer my Bitcoins to my bank online then I go to my bank to withdraw the same. From then, I use whatever cash that has been converted for my daily needs. It has always been the cycle that I follow since not everyone is open to accepting Bitcoins.

Let me know if you have a better idea.

Thank you!

I have came across thread last week there is a super market accepts the bitcoin as a payment window now. Accepting bitcoin is for future currency revolution gonna taken part. Since is being used by the many people and this much widely spreaded in online. This is not reached to all the people in my city or else where to laymen level. Let it should be spreaded more to all the people first before reach to usage. Confirmation time should reduced to get the more adopted from the retails businesses.

Confirmation time was not really a problem, the last time I bought groceries in the local supermarket with Bitcoin. I just scanned a QR code with my smartphone and after a couple of seconds there popped up a message that the payment was completed. I just looked up what Payment processing system they use and it looks like it is Bitkassa. I found a manual on their website: https://www.bitkassa.nl/help , you can translate the page in the right upper corner.

Please be patient, I think you will feel it soon. now bitcoin is growing very rapidly. there are also many ATM, restaurant, E-commerce and also offline store that receive bitcoin. it's been proven and you can see it in the database of bitcoin recipients in each country. for supermarkets I do not think it's too much, especially as big supermarkets still require regulation for the safe use of bitcoins for them. some small-scale stores have already applied a lot. so now we have to wait for regulation in every country for the usage of bitcoin with very easy and safe. so the trust of big companies like supermarkets can use bitcoin in their financial system.

You're honestly better off using your credit card or cash if you're going to a supermarket, honestly. While Bitcoin could be used for point of sale transactions, it's far from optimized. It's much better for online transactions.

Yes, but we don't have many online shopping malls in online in that many shopping malls are not sending the products accurately. People always need to spend their money in direct shopping malls only by spending through credit and debit card.
The online service of the bitcoin is the thing is getting high so buy the bitcoins and then increase more and more. The value of the bitcoin is increasing so there are a lot of the online and the offline wallets and the investing for the long time, buying more bitcoin will help you get the high income in the past so hold the bitcoin so would like to buy a lot of the coin and then invest it to the high level.

I think this is the only one matter for which the care takers of bitcoin have to give a look. This matter is much ignored and plus users find it so difficult to convert bitcoin in fiat. For this, users of bitcoins are not happy with this feature. So better is to make bitcoin accessible to every store, shopping mall as is the need of time.

In what country do you live? Are you sure there are no websites that are not related to supermarkets that are accepting bitcoin? As I know there are some companies for each countries that are offering bitcoin for payments and do buy and sell of bitcoin so that's a good one to consider as a bitcoin accepting business.

Receiving bitcoin as exchange of anythings from supermarkets are not applicable for now in our country, but I'm looking forward that someday bitcoin was used as exchange of any goods. Definitely bitcoin value is usable but all we have to do is to convert it first to assure that your bitcoin can pay anything even items or services, hopefully that all stores and shop are accept bitcoin as currency.

I was not believe that there's a supermarkets that accept bitcoin, because since I was joined in bitcoin community like sir mharz I can't see any shops or services that accept bitcoin as exchange of their goods and services. Especially to our country my nation was accept only a cash because more people lives there are not know how to used bitcoin. Moreover some people live their are not yet know how to used gadgets and some people are less educated that's why it's hard for them to understand what is bitcoin.

Bitcoin isn't ready to be used in shops yet. Bitcoin needs to scale up and it will one way or the other. If it fails something else will take its place.
