I dont think this is practical, you will pay for transfer fee just to pay clothes, food, water, appliances etc were as you can actually pay fiat without any additional fee. So far i don't know any mall or supermarket that accepts bitcoin here in my place.
Exactly right! there is no way this is going to catch on, with the high fee and slow speed. It is absolutely no competition for the easy and speed of cash, or cashes digital delivering methods, namely credit card or mobile pay. There are number of things regarding bitcoin and crypto currency which needs to be taken care of. The most important things amongst those include the improvement of transaction process and the decrease in the amount of transaction fees. There is no such sort of super market right now in my country where you can buy the things by paying the bills in the form of bitcoin or any other crypto currency.

Even in my country I haven't see any mall or supermarket that accepts bitcoin as a mode of payment and even if it does then also I think people would not be willing to spend their bitcoins as it can be time consuming to wait for transaction to get confirmed so people will prefer to use cash or debit/credit card for making payments. Also in our country, there is no store that accepts bitcoin as a payment and I agree that using bitcoin can be a problem when it comes to delayed transaction confirmations. In stores, it would be preferable to use fiat money or just like what you said credit cards because it will be more convenient and faster compared to using bitcoin. Bitcoin is much more useful online when making money transactions that is not that urgent and I think it should stay that way.

Why is it that this is not practical? Bitcoin used to be called as crypto"currency" and that's what currency is used for right? There's no sense if you'll call bitcoin isn't practical for these things and with supermarkets that are accepting bitcoin they are doing the right thing. They are adapting on what's innovating and trending with current technology so you should consider that.

In my place non of the supermarket is accepting bitcoin. I believe this would be happen very soon the popularity which bitcoin getting has chances to achieve. What I use to do is I convert my bitcoin through exchange and the transfer the money directly to my bank account with in 5 minutes. I use that bank ATM to use it in supermarkets and malls, restaurants etc.

It is not only your country which is not having this sort of facility, in fact there are number of countries all over the world including my very own country as well which does not have even a single super market which is giving this kind of facility to their customers. There are lot of insecurities related to that of accepting of bitcoin and the most common reason is that it has not been declared as legal currency by now.

I think it's impossible to find out any mall or supermarket that accept Bitcoin for payment in my hometown but it's much easier if I want to find out a restaurant that accept Bitcoin for payment. . But I don't know what will happen in next year cause the government in my country is going to ban Bitcoin in the early of next year. Hope they will not do that )

I have not got a mall or supermarket that accept bitcoin as a means of payment. in my country there are some rules about legitimate payments. and bitcoin are prohibited for use as legal payments. bitcoin is limited to investment and should not be used for payment. ileh therefore payment using bitcoin is not done.

I'm not aware of any whether they are inside or outside my country. In China, this is unthinkable, and it may take 100 years for China to pay with bitcoin In China there is already a so called alipay so I don't think people will choose bitcoin in that way for supermarkets. Since it is backed up by their government and it's owned by the world renowned billionaire Jack Ma. But in other countries it's possible to see some supermarket accepts bitcoin especially if the owner is a real investor in bitcoin and he's a believer on it.

Here too, we cant use straight bitcoin for payments cos its not yet legal currency here, so we should convert the bitcoin first.

Not difficult to have supermarket to accept bitcoin. Once the segwit is active and able to handle more and quicker transactions.

I think if in our country transactions in supermarkets using bitcoin in my opinion can not be applied, because in this case only a few people who understand what is bitcoin. In this case munking there are some supermarkets that already use bitcoin.

According to my personal views, this is the one of the efforts that really looks more advanced and should be already available in various countries. But well.. as in fact, since not everyone understands about bitcoin or knows about bitcoin, it's still a small possibility available in all countries. Especially in my place, hmm.. it does not exist and it seems likely very small if there will be supermarkets that accept bitcoin payments.
