My worst loss was Blocknet that is now doing very well in the market. I bought Blocknet then around the $10 by end of 2016 my stash as devalue to 50 cent. It was horrible because i really believe in the project and i was holding for long term. I sold. But now I i regret that i sold. Blocknet now is around $30

Cannot predict a loss incoming but a piece of advice would be to avoid joining coins during the actual pump phase, just be patient and wait for the right moment.

What was your worst loss investing in altcoins? When i bought etherium but forget the date and i sell for 50% loss. 50% is my worst lost. I can not think if i lost more than that. So now i learn from that.

It happened when this certain token's price (will not say what it is) was declining and decreasing a lot that I was put into panic selling mode and before I knew it, someone had bought the coins. I wasn't paying any attention to the charts (since there are other things to do) but before I knew it, the coins I sold where pumping and had already doubled its price. It was really disappointing but I cannot actually say its the worst, since it was my first time trading, plus, I got those coins cheap, so yeah, it's not that kind of bad. Just disappointing. Although, I learned a lot from that mistake.

Sad to say this but right now - the prize would have to go to ATS. Not good press for them. I still think its a good project. But a lesson to any ICO should be to carefully think out the bounty program - it could turn out to be deadly.

I am fairly new to Crypto world, and people recommended me to buy Waves as a long term investment. I bought without any research or unaware of fluctuation in the market. It is now going deeper down, i've lost more than %60 Very dissapointed....

This has been a bad bad time for all my alternate currencies. I am almost down to 60% of my holding in bitcoin terms. The worst performing alts for me were databits and zash.

so sad to hear how much people lost in investing in altcoin. this is really helpful for many of us who have little experience in Investing in ICO however I still believe that there are still many altcoin that have make many investors great profit because I have heard many investor on another thread how they make over 300% profit investing in altcoin. i think finding a profitable altcoin is really a challenge. it is really hard to predict a profitable altcoin

My worst loss is LIR. It was an ico which gains like x2 at the start. However, it was later turn out to be a scam where the owner bought like 10 over accounts to hype its own thread, that the price drop like 99.99%. I remember i got in at around 2.8k sat per unit and i sold at 200 sat per unit. Now it was a few sat.

What was your worst loss investing in altcoins? If you have trustworthy people, there is no problem with some failures. The worst people are false people. Personally at the moment my biggest loss is the sale of several BTCs after my weak rate. I tend to not worry on the price of an Altcoin because they usually don't get a high value once the money is placed into it. Crypto is weird.

What was your worst loss investing in altcoins? Invested in IOTA when it was 21k satoshis, and now under 5k. But I'm still holding it. So it's a paper lose of 78%.
