It is so simple: just make them addicted to hard drugs such as heroin.
I don't think heroin would've been enough for me during my gaming days.

That's mah boi!

But seriously, video game addiction may look bad in parents eyes, but mostly it's not a big deal unless you're that guy: http://abc13.com/news/pokemon-go-player-stabbed-keeps-playing/1427078/

Lmao, I haven't read that one yet. And yeah, video game "addiction" can even be good in some circumstances. Most of the concepts that I came up with to increase my profits and performance ingame ended up being models taught in Mathematics lectures at university. Definitely wouldn't have learned those, even in basic forms, in school or getting shitface drunk every day. Tongue

Get them into an alternative activity like bitcoin and alt coin trading. If they are good they can make some spare cash Wink

Games such as dota, dota2, csgo and much more caused the teenager addiction nowdays. How to prevent this things happen to our teenagers.
many online games that affect teenagers and even make them become addicted to the games.
my kids also love the online games, but I give them time limits when they play those online games, they usually play on holidays and only a few hours that we have set.
we just have to be wise in responding to our children's hobby of playing games and we must take time to accompany and monitor while they are playing the game so they do not become addicted to the game.

A great topic! I'm really loved game.. But all things have a time .. And from ourselves that determines when to move from that time. And in my opinion, a spiritual approach and looking for something new is the good solution.

If the parents would throw the television out of the window, there would be the chance that teenagers will start to occupy themselves with physical things. Many teenagers are also busy with their mobiles and I honestly do not see any chance to get the teenagers away from online games as everything is focused on virtual content and activity!

Dota2 is the best game right now. We ourselves know that. And for young people, to get rid of addiction to the game depends on each parent. Watch him, educate him and provide direction for new things.

The world is pretty damn nice if you look in the right places (away from people).

But yes, I agree totally that people should just be allowed to play games if they choose to. They're very complex after all and allow for socializing and self-improvement in ways that most other hobbies can not. Definitely worlds better than going to parties.

I think if the problem is in online games, parents have the power to stop teenagers from video game addiction, I've experienced it. By monitoring the spending of money for their teenage child. Parents should not arbitrarily give money, if children ask for money, just ask the money for what, do not give if it is to play online games. I've been through it and I managed to quit the addiction of playing video games.

If your signature is anything to go by you've replaced it with a gambling addiction though? I really hope for you that's not the case and you're just doing the campaign for extra BTC.

Look for an alternatives, like sports (basketball, baseball, or soccer) there are lots of ways, but to be honest this types of addiction will fade so let them enjoy it, actually I'd rather see them play games than to drink and do drugs.

Great stance. Wish more parents saw it this way.

I think the best way to leave the addiction of playing video games is improving the interaction with other people.

You can interact with more people by playing video games than you can by going out in the real world though.
