No, it isn't.
Of course it can, but not by brute forcing to get a private key with funds. The weakest point in any security system is the person using it. By clever social engineering you might hank out the password of an innocent user of an online wallet. Or maybe you got a hidden trojan on your PC that turned out to be a RAT and it has now your unencrypted bitcoin wallet. That's why you should ALWAYS be careful no matter what, always use two factor authentication and always encrypt your password. And never store your backup phrase in a document on your PC, that phrase should be on a physical paper hidden in your drawer.

Yes, it is, it can be hacked from your cellphone or personal computer if they can get your password but if the hackers can't get the details with you, they cannot hacked your bitcoin.

Due to the nature of digital mining, bitcoin’s value cannot be manipulated or altered. Bitcoin's value is secured thanks to the cryptographic functions that it employs, and though it could be hacked one day in the future, technology and cryptography experts agree that such an attack is unlikely in the near-term. However, the networks and storage locations where bitcoins are housed and “protected” can be hacked by malevolent forces. Despite assurances by bitcoin storage companies and developers of the currency, bitcoin exchanges can and have been hacked
No I don’t think so that bitcoin can be hacked because the security system of bitcoin mining and holding is so strong that nobody can hack your bitcoin. Just relax and invest in bitcoin for making more and more money doing exactly nothing.

In my opinion investment in bitcoin is the most sensible decision made by anyone who want to invest his money in some business.

It is impossible to hack bitcoin network completely. If you are using unsecured mobile wallet, it may get hacked. Mobile exchanges get hacked, this has happened before Bitstamp exchange got hacked in 2015, Mt.Gox, Japan got hacked in 2014. Hacking and stealing of bitcoins is possible in mobile wallets and bitcoin exchanges but it is impossible to hack entire bitcoin network. For hacking the entire bitcoin network one has to hack all the nodes of all the bitcoin users all over the world, which is impossible. Bitcoin have great future in global finance, incidences like hacking creates bad impression on upcoming investors, they hesitate to invest.

Yes it can be hacked either you use computers or laptop or cellphone. I think hackers are too curious and so wise to be able to hack your account. So I think make your password long enough for security purposes because you didn't know if when your turn that your account can be hacked so make it secured enough.

Set up an exchange, get lots of people to deposit their BTC, claim theft of BTCs, file for bankruptcy, recover some of the BTC.  Quietly shut down and live off the value of the BTC acquired.  I wonder if anyone has done this yet?

It is possible if you haven't secured enough your wallet, or if your password or/and email get hacked or stolen. You need to secure your wallet and link it to your phone if you are using the online wallets and choose complicated passwords, and of course store your private key

Hackers can purge 1 blockchain node but they cannot forge or hack all of them. Imagine hacking ovet 5,000 Bitcoin blockchain nodes at the same time. Impossible! That's why there are too many investors today for Bitcoin because of its security feature that can guarantee investor's money a good profit.

Yes it can be hacked why not? In this digital world of internet hackers are been quite alive when they have known something that can be profitable or for any private reasons. So for our own seek only as a user of bitcoin, who has a own account of bitcoin, lets all be responsible for our own seek because we cant control or cannot avoid this circumstances. Whether we like it or not if it would happen that our account will be hacked theres nothing we can do.

Wallets and all can be hacked and coins stolen unfortunately, but the blockchain itself is cast iron and data on it cannot be changed after being broadcast. Almost any thing on the inter Web can be hacked if the perpetrators out in enough effort. Always keep that in mind and if possible, keep your coins off-line.

Yes bitcoin can be hacked, my friend already encountered this case. And a much worst we can't even recovered what is already hacked. A very sad thing that could happen to us as a trader because all our hard work that we make to put that account is lost.  So, i get an idea to what happened to my frien that the only thing we can do is to secure pur account, although we can't tell if were gonna be hacked but as long as it didn't happen to us let's be prepare and secure for our own seek.

I think bitcoin will not be hacked, if you put bitcoin in your blockchain wallet. It is a very high technology for bitcoin security.
It will be difficult to steal bitcoin .

It has been 8 years from the date Bitcoin was born. There are no known cases of hacked bitcoin. And it is impossible. But if you store Bitcoin and altcoin in hot wallet, Maybe hackers can attract it.

I have pretended to be mentally retarded for seven years.

There is one type of attack that could affect the bitcoin network: the 51 percent attack, which is widely considered to be bitcoin’s greatest inherent flaw. Because it is decentralized, bitcoin is vulnerable if any one player or cartel gains control of 51 percent of the computing power of all miners. This would allow them to stop transactions and reverse transactions, which would throw the network into chaos. In the past, at least one group has achieved control of 50 percent of the network. However, the more people using bitcoin, the safer it is — and more people are using bitcoin now than ever. It’s difficult to get an accurate count of how many users bitcoin has, but the estimates are in the millions.
Where Bitcoin becomes truly insecure is when other technology starts to get involved. Bitcoin was conceived as a “trustless” system; you don’t have to trust any centralized party in order to use your money, because transactions are facilitated by other members of the network. In reality, bitcoin is too complicated for most people to use without mediators such as apps, wallets, and other digital currency services. The biggest need is for third party exchanges, which are sites where bitcoin is bought and sold for other currencies. All these third party services are only as safe as their own security. Mt. Gox, arguably the most famous example of an exchange going belly up, filed for bankruptcy in early 2014 after around 850,000 bitcoins went missing.
Bitcoin is still largely unregulated, which means your money isn’t insured and there is often no accountability for exchanges. So while bitcoin tech itself remains unhacked, the methods used to collect, buy, and sell remain as potential attack vectors.

I think Bitcoin can not be attacked because Blockchain technology is now growing and no one knows how Bitcoin was created. Only exchanges are attacked and this really does not affect Bitcoin
Sorry for late reply on your post but please can you explain me, even if it happened and bitcoin get hacked, why will only exchangers be attacked and how it won't affect bitcoin? In idea, bitcoin gets hacked so it will affect bitcoin of course, can't understand what you wanted to say when you were posting it. It's like hack bitcointalk but only yobit users will be damaged (sounds very far from logic).
P.S please don't open new thread about supercomputer and it's ability to mine all coin and hack all wallet, forget that. Currently it's not possible to "hack" bitcoin, but virtually everything is possible.

I love the concept of Bitcoin. I believe the Internet will redefine currency as we know it.  I hope this helps the Bitcoin community to develop a currency that's really resilient to attacks.

But, is it possible?
might happen, because if the bitcoin community gets more then easily develop a currency that is resistant to attack or blockchain technology.

Actually bitcoin is made up of a very complicated algorithm. Which means it is very difficult or impossible to hack bitcoin.
But the hackers can hack the wallets which are not giving good security to our accounts.

How is it possible be? it's technology is a top secret. I remember several spam attacks that led to nothing anyways. But doing real damage? No, it can't be hacked in any scenario
