I'm a practicing Internal Medicine physician. Been working for over 10 years now. I'm also an investor into cryptos and I'm hoping one of these medical ICOs will take off. I have about $10k invested in each one and I keep trying to find more to invest in. Whichever one takes over the industry will moon!

That's great to hear! It'll be wonderful getting some investment advice from a physician about healthcare ICOs. Just something cheaper than SVH, the 35 ETH minimum is too much right now

SVH will release that minimum soon. They're following US ICO regulations set by the SEC, that's one reason I love them so much. But they still don't have any physicians on their team which bothers me a little. It's similar to PTOY (which is most likely a scam) in that terms, but I really like the founder of SVH. She's a young woman with a bunch of enthusiasm and knowledge in the field.

I will update other medical ICOs I like here once I find some!

This interesting thread made me think "Can donor information be safe stored in a blockchain and (how) would that give an advantage?"

Give me your opinion about… Can the blockchain be applicable for the medical sector? Explain your pros and cons please. Thank you.

yes you can, reward the work of medical assistance with blockchain token these are true value carriers in this case, dont bother going to a bank just look for a person interested in working in the medical industry,

so people thall will desire medical assistance will have to buy or aquire those token

this way a doctor can become a doctor and a jobless person can become an assitant without asking the banksters for their money.

it doesnt work however when the doctor doesnt take back his token for his services, so its better a bigger medical corporation creates such a token

it will still end becoming regulated, because why should single doctors be allowed to pay more medical tokens to their assistances than others.

still funds and token credit, but basically very helpful, some projects have emerged and successful like PTT project (patientory) but indeed the response from the market has not been strong and impressed stagnan, drug purchase can be faster and service through third party connector can connect well by their customers and services. this is an excellent blend.

PTOY (Patientory) hasn't given an update in months - I'd be careful calling them a successful project, and this is coming from someone who invested heavily into PTOY.

I believe it can... The world of technology is so vast now that it already has a great hold of almost everything.  Even in the world of medicine, cryptocurrency has already creep in... so there is no reason that it can also dominate the medical world

I somewhere wrote about this

that simple application is a consistent database for patients in need of being in the queue before taking any medication

and the inability of anyone to intervene

Certainly block chain has an immense potential to improve the health care sector.
But will regulate it ? Gov or companies
And how is that possible? I have several ICO which have gone rough and scam. Even some ICO are promoting to have developed complete treatment of cancer and other life-threatening diseases but they are just vaporware to draw people and are actually pure scams.

Certainly block chain has an immense potential to improve the health care sector.
But will regulate it ? Gov or companies
Usually private companies regulate the hospitals.. govt only regulates government run programs
In our country government hospitals have the biggest load of patients and not the private ones. Even if a private company is associated to a hospital, how does that matter with cryptocurrencies?

This interesting thread made me think "Can donor information be safe stored in a blockchain and (how) would that give an advantage?"
Have you ever heard of something called Medical Records and Medical Record keeping section?

Medicine supply transactions and health support supplements will be faster for all countries when using blockchain and other crypto currencies, but strong implementations have not been achieved until now and some projects fail in the sale of ICOs such as bowheads (AHT).

there is a very important need for the system that connect with the service if you want to directly jump into the health substance, cannot be directly on run without a mature business structure.

introducing blockchain to medicine could also lead to an anti corruption campaign.

Such as : registering all science and medicine related papers to prevent corruption of scientific evidence and prevents political governments to corrupts it to suit their agendas.
mainly all controversial science discoveries, for exemple "genetic medicine" , "genetic science".

such a blockchain forced registration would prevent disaster like we have witnessed under USSR with Lissenko ( lissenkism ), claiming genes doesn't exists, and basically erased all scientific evidence of genes existence during this era. Problem which sent USSR 20 years back in this field. and slowed down their medicine drastically.
All this mess made most scientist review all of the papers written after his departure.

Had these informations been written in uncorruptible blockchain system, Lisenko could have never been able to claim the non existence of genes and rewrite medical and scientific evidence to suit its own agenda.

Also current scientists all over the world are facing a new political crysis since western scientist "believe" DNA doesn't affect IQ, or "races doesn't exist"
whereas in asia, chinese  company BGI genomics try to find the common genes shared by people of >140IQ. and other asian countries claiming races and IQ correlation.

basically the controvertial list goes on both sides and is just endless, with science and medicine being rewritten as many times as it can possibly suits agendas of current leading ideologies.

making medicine and science corruption free, would push medicine and science  years  if not decades ahead of our time.
