dev's said they will mine to the current block to where they're currently at. It was for them only and they announced it a month prior to it happening

essentially the software is becoming more unstable and now the testnet will be extended another week, even the only working pool ( pool.gold ) is not paying out test coins, all of the software is shit, as the dev's don't know c++ and are over their heads,

There has never been any real mining to date on BTG, what you see there are just "GENESIS" block transactions that are inserted in the code at birth of the block-chain.

All is created by scratch the BTG is NOT compatible with existing BTC chain as its 2MB and the BTC is 1M.

At this point even when you get a 'payout' on mining pool "pool.gold" where they show a payout the BGOLDD daemon will still show 'zero' when you use 'bgold-cli getbalance' this is because the testnet software doesn't work, and they don't know how to make it work.

With Claymores BTG Miner v12.6, this is error I see in miner txt file, after my screen goes blue and PC restart:
"OC v7, Reset control for GPU 0, close miner right now if you want to use default control from Catalyst"

I use 470/480 Crimson Beta 23.Aug and tryed Crimson 17.11.2 and 17.7.2, same problem.
How to fix that Catalyst error? Drivers work well mining eth.

What is the target hashrate for Sapphire Nitro RX470 4GB for this coin? Currently my settings are good for ETH, getting about 29.3-29.9mh/s

You have an error on mainpage, in the section miner apps, it can confuse somebody. Should be equihash miner instead of eth miner.

BITCOIN GOLD create another opportunity for miners who has seeing bitcoin mining a very difficult task and unprofitable. I have read many articles on how to mining bitcoin gold in days to come with your graphics processing unit and it seemed easy to me compared  to mining some other coin. We have to take advantage of the opportunity created by this splitting in other to convert our unused tools to bitcoin gold mining.

I think this is just a beginning of the bitcoin where gold essentially was the site of the existence of the bitcoin, so I think if you want to get an advantage in the mining bitcoin gold then surely we must also understand well bitcoin gold origin and don't do the mining. Looking for reference is indeed the best thing, but if indeed you basically haven't understand well mining then big losses you can get. Because sometimes there are people who want to look for its own advantage.
