We also want to do this for the purpose of not spamming the other Bitcointalk thread related to FootballCoin, so all talks about players and teams from the Champions League, opinions of how they will perform etc. are all very much welcome.

Let me just share with you a recent winning team in a Champions League contest hosted on the site.  It's a team filled with famous players, but often times we see teams created with players less than 3 stars winning contests. It's all about skills.

Oh this sounds really cool. I am just a newbie in regards with football but I really love the sport! I am rooting for Neymar and FC Barcelona I hope they win this one. Neymar is just one great amazing football player and I just love how he handles the football.

Here's the winning team for last nights competition.
What's the most interesting is that the user has managed to with only free players (except for the Assistant manager). This goes to show that skill is everything on FootballCoin

Wow, that seems like a guy to learn from. He knows some football. With a bit of studying, I might get in the top 30% next time.
BTW, my team was not that bad , I guess the recent upgrades in the game, which made the game easier to play, made the players better at the game.

The champions league is a different kettle of fish from the English premier league, sure they have started very well and are dominating English sides but it is to early to say who will win it. You have the Spanish sides, Juventus, Bayern, PSG all in contention and looking equally as good as city. They will win the group, but let us see who they draw in the group stages before making bold predictions.
