itcoin was made for peer to peer transactions. You can also earn some fiat by buying and selling bitcoins to usd nor altcoins. And the value of bitcoin is higher and the movement of the coin is unpredictable.

Bitcoin mining is now a specialized and very risky industry, just like gold mining. Amateur miners are unlikely to make much money, and may even lose money. Bitcoin is much more than just mining, though!

The most common uses of Bitcoin is investment,
We are using it to get a profit so for me the most common use of bitcoin is investment,
It is either investing in alt-coin to do trading or investing in some investment sites.
