Getting porn sites to accept bitcoin

Please don't until we have recurring payments. We don't want to spam them with a "solution" that doesn't work for them.

If Bitcoins get popular in porn world, it will certainly lead to another surge in its value that's for sure.

There is a major problem with porn sites.
I have a friend which owns a few and he knows a few guys in this business. He even went to the Budapest convention this year. I've been bugging him a lot about bitcoins but i finally got an answer.
This below will sum up the icq conversation they had.

The problem , apart from the recurring fees , is the anonymity of the user.
One of the managers of an affiliate program , one of the biggest after Manwin , (i'm not going to name him for obvious reasons) said something like that:

The moment we accept bitcoins and not credit cards there will be a kid somewhere buying access , and there will be a parent catching him in the act and a newspaper telling the story.
It downs't matter that the kid could have watched porn for free on a tube , downloaded it from free or anything else.
In that moment a mob of angry activist will hammer us with lawsuits into oblivion as we don't already have enough problems with them.
And in the end , something like , we won't risk getting into trouble for a 10% increase in sales , a 20% increase because there will be no charge backs and a 50% decrease because of recurring payments.

Of course i think this would be a total different story about videochat websites but .. i don't know and have nobody i know in that business.

I think one time purchases will work for videochat websites but not for the rest.
Also , all purchases on most adult websites imply reccuring payments.
I checked a few and you can't get only 3 months , you'll be billed after that if you don't cancel your payment.
A trick , a dirty one but keeps them alive in this world where very few people still pay for porn.

Ain't most porn sites starting to accept bitcoin payments now? I see threads about paysites accepting this payment method on GFY more and more, not only donation links on free sites like pornhub, http://theporndude.com/, xhamster, etc.

The latest one I saw was naughtyamerica, I think. And wasn't there a payment processor who accepted bitcoins now? Can't remember the name.

Really hope this trend continuous. Would be awesome !!!

A major issue is age validation.

At least in the US, banking laws prevent a minor from getting a credit card in their name.

Bitcoin has no such age verification.

I think at this will be available soon. Age verification could be an issue but as it is now a simple vcc can solve that so I don't think it would be much different.

I think some, you know, entertainment websites, are already accepting bitcoin. My erm resources tell me that usually websites cost 1$ for a trial, which would be the easiest thing with bitcoin.

If the porn industry adopts Bitcoin as a method of payment, I'm certain we'd see a big upwards thrust in the coin's value.

If there is no age validation, porn industry will not accept bitcoin. Maybe a company can provide the third party age verification, and the adult can send bitcoin from that company. Some privacy is lost in the process.

Porn is not perceived as very positive by a lot of people. I doubt that it is good for Bitcoin that porn industry is one of the first to adopt it.

This is not a problem. Bitcoin has been adopted in many online shops, including Dell, Overtock and Aria, Scan computers.

but it's good for other, and it's better that bitcoin is available for everyone, no matter what they like, it's the same when you release a game, it's better if you release it for every platform

Why have i to pay for a porno amatoriale site when there are sites like PornHub, AmaPorn or PornoAmatoriali?
