 nobody knows what can happen in a few months or even weeks from now, it is almost impossible to predict what can happen with the price of something, and less with something so volatile as bitcoin, it is impossible to know that mate.
But based on what are you saying that the price is going to dump that much? i dont know if it is possible, just imagine that the price is upto $6000 at the moment, and $2000 is more than 60% less than ATM price

Bitcoin can fall to 0 before 2018 for all we know. It's just highly unlikely. It's like how Bitcoin rising to 100,000 before 2018 is unlikely as well. Essentially, no one can predict what will happen. Bitcoin has seemingly defied odds that many have put on it. For now, however, we do know that we are in a bubble of sorts. There is a rise in btc price due to the upcoming fork. People will be dumping bitcoin gold very quickly. After that rise, there will be a decent correction period.

That would really be impossible. Bitcoin's market value is continously increasing at this moment and getting more expensive. Backdrops are still expected but not as big as you've mentioned. The hardest dump that Bitcoin suffered, happened recently and it is only down by 1200$ , so there'll be nothing that will make the value of Bitcoin from 6000 down to 2000 in just 2 months considering the next fork which is another factor for the pump especially if it will be successful.

Really funny that every time bitcoin reaches new ATH, FUD's monger came out and spreading those scenario that bitcoin will crash. It bitcoin will be dump and can't be control, then sell your coins, its that simple. Get out of the market and then go somewhere like ETH or other altcoins.

But to be honest, there is a chance that bitcoin can go down or bitcoin can go up. No one really knows because the market that we are in is based on speculations. News whether negative or positive affect the price. If there is case that will really affect the market and pull the price to $2000 then we can't do anything about it. However, I'm sure that a lot of investors who have trusted bitcoin will buy huge amount of bitcoin if the price goes to $2000, so in no time bitcoin will be going up again and fully recovered down the line. On the other hands, bitcoin can even go as high as $10000, so its your choice.

And panic hit bitcoin holders, making everybody try to sell overnight. It should overload the blockchain, if, only if, the transactions of usd - btc be p2p.
I don't think in exchange wallets you need btc address to receive your USD... So downfall to $2000 range I guess still possible?
But for that, would need some hard move on the tech from Japan or USA. what we can't foresee anything close.

All could happen to bitcoin, but seeing how bitcoin develops now I see an increased chance of bitcoin prices. even at least bitcoin prices will survive as it is today. if you can analyze then bitcoin has reached new record, we all just see bitcoin price reach 6.000USD and further speculation is bitcoin price will reach 7.000USD until 8.000USD by the end of this year. personally I feel fortunate enough to have saved some bitcoin before, for those of you who are still taking a chance then buy bitcoin does not hurt, try this opportunity because the increase will continue to happen and the bitcoin price reduction is very unlikely to happen.

Based on the history of Bitcoin, anything is possible as there had been dramatic dips in the past. But one thing you should consider is the fact that Bitcoin has the mechanism to easily recover after a big dip. That is why many people are just holding on to their Bitcoin because they already learned how Bitcoin is moving. There would always be big and small hindrances but Bitcoin can always find the ways to surge and grow...to the moon as they say.

Stop believing all the negative comments you may have heard of. There have been famous people who made a good career in criticizing Bitcoin and making some gloomy scenarios where Bitcoin can die and can be banned all over the world...those are just naysayers who got nothing to do and so they delve on Bitcoin and made disparaging comments even if they don't fully grasp all the things behind Bitcoin.

That is not possible because for every value fall down of bitcoin lets say a difference of $500 it will be an opportunity of the other bitcoin enthusiast to buy bitcoin immediately because they could save $500 too in their investment how much more to be save if the difference is $1000 from todays value? Also please consider that many new countries now are adopting bitcoin meaning many new investors are pouring in therefore i will be optimistic that by next year $10,000 is my mark.

$2000 would be a quite a jump, but yes I was also expecting a drop but not this much. I am expecting the segwit2x frok to cause some waves in the bitcoin market, probably a drop to $4000s is more realistic.

We dont know if the price of bitcoin decrease at 2000 dollars but I hope it will not decrease. Because as of now the price of bitcoin is 5900 dollars plus and continue to increase so we can make a lot of profit in the future. More bitcoin that you have more money to come. Bitcoin price seems on a good rally these days, rise over $6000 before bitcoin gold hard fork.
What will happen before the end of year? Nobody knows for sure, but drop to $2000 before end of the year? Really doubt it.
Bitcoin may get corrected after reach ATH, but it may not fall below $4000 I guess,  bitcoin price could be steady at $6000 until the end of the year, or at least over $5000.

As in the above statement everything is happening good with bitcoin, in terms of growth as well in terms of people accepting bitcoin for different needs as well the marketplace increases. If the same continues, there won't be any more price drop to such a low value as $2000. Even if that happens, people will invest big, because most has benefited from the same.

Bitcoin price falling back to 2000$ is just logical like you said OP since price upward movement has been going on for a prolonged period of time and it needs to go back where it once was in order for investors to know it's real value in the current time if hype is gone. Price movements also are unpredictable which made me think that there is a possibility that by the end of this year, it might or might not sit at 2000$ price.

Yup! it will never gonna be smaller that the $4000 mark value in the end of this year because we already reach a certain All time high amount then we can set a good safe zone for bitcoin to not go under that cap, and yup! more investors right now are waiting to buy bitcoin right now when the price plummets in the impending Hard Fork so nothing to worry about in my part.
