Hi, yes there will be a Masternode setup guide on the new website which will be launched soon. We are still waiting to fully activate the Masternode network, as per previous posts.

You can check if you see this in your wallet by "spork show" command in console.


Pools will have to enable 1% dev fee to address B689SM77Pe56wJze6KPywtKkva9rhPZZUc

Old wallets will fork because v2 blocks will not be backward compatible - multi algo will be enabled.

SHA256D, SCRYPT, NIST5, LYRA2Z, X11 and X16R will be Bata's multi algo.

Block rewards will be dynamic up to 0.25 BTA. That means only with enough nethash full block rewards will be mined.

What is a SPORK?
A spork is a mechanism that was unique to Dash. Now a mechanism of Bata (BTA)
It used to safely deploy new features to the network through network-level variables to avoid the risk of unintended network forking during upgrades.

v2 blocks start @ block 1,100,000 ( around 1.5k blocks left at posting)

v2 Blocks will enforce masternode payment.

Blocks will be dynamic with a reward up to .25

Multi-Algo activates at the same block.

Difficulty was wrong in new algos as there were no previous blocks. We reverted back to scrypt.


Github source code has been updated (0.16.2.80) with error rectified - https://github.com/BTA-BATA/Bataoshi

Wallets will be compiled. Exchanges and pools contacted to update.

Block number to start multi algo will be decided soon.  

Please update to rectify issue.

A spork has to be actived for multi-pools. We need to do it once majority exchanges have updated and everything else. Then when the Masternode network is officially launched a new website will be launched with the instructions.

With less than 400 blocks to go Bata will have fully activated Masternodes & multi-algo.

Block 1,110,000 - make sure you are ONLY using pools and exchanges that have updated to v0.16.3.80
