We all knew the risks with this one from the start. The fake team in the whitepaper was proof enough but it seems that the Fomo is always stronger than common sense. Every ICO is risky and especially these lending platforms so just follow the number #1 rule and don't invest more than you are willing to lose in ANY ICO.

Yep, the good ole days when Team Ethconnect accused others of creating their fake team members on their PDF, but Google indexed their website clearly showing that it was Ethconnect who provided the team members along with their fake bios, not some rogue entity as Ethconnect claimed. See my sig if you want to participate in an honest venture. Our Twitter campaign/bounty is taking off like wildfire: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2656390.0Bruno

0.653 ETH (494.5 ECH) lost. The only bad thing is I talked my friend into using the same amount. Will never send ICO links to friends again.

Isn't better to lend the coins at this point and lock in that $5 value before the price goes down when or if they open the exchange? My other question is if anyone is receiving any lending profits and being able to reinvest?

Ico need to be regulated badly Given these smart contracts there should be a one body to regulate this code to make sure funds are not released to the company start ups until they whole team member can be verified by there documents I’d and photos I think at least at the moment there are 2 or 3 websites that do there own verification when listing ICOs... for now this is the best we got other then doing our own research My research on ETHconnect before depositing a small amount was ZERO Even though I was fully aware of ICO scams I just saw Bitconnect all over again and jumped in Everyone who has done the same has hopefully learned a lesson here in regards to ICO investments

This will not prove anything. just do your research and invest wisely

Icos should not be regulated we don't want government intervention into cryptos. If you lose your money you are responsible.

Start the New Year off right. If you lost money in Ethconnect or any other lending program clone of Bitconnect, follow the link in my sig, then PM me if considering purchasing YTC at a 25% discount of the current U$0.01 per rate plus get your initial outlay returned plus 1% or 2% interest compounded daily depending of which tier you enroll in (details within linked-to thread's OP littered with grammatically-correct non-plagiarized prose). Here's our Twitter campaign/bounty thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2656390.0.

AVOID THIS COIN AT ALL COSTS.
Do NOT buy from anyone externally Apparently there's an exploit going out to where people can get free ECH tokens on the platform using a post request with a specific key. I'm not too sure what the key or request uri is,but it's being used to generate fake ECH tokens to where people sell them externally from the platform. If the site itself isn't showing itself to be a scam, there are people banking on this shitty platform themselves by exploiting the horseshit that are called developers. Check this out: https://t.me/ethconnectofficialThis "official" channel, who claims to be "Run by Developmant teams!", are giving away 5k free ECH tokens daily. They're giving away free tokens constantly throughout the day to random users as freebies as well. There are a couple of accounts that have upwards of 800 million tokens that I have seen on twitter, and this correlates to the exploit that's happening. This is not sustainable as each token is worth $5.00 from the site itself. The smart contract does not have enough tokens allocated to provide this amount.
