Question: Please choose the coin-swap mechanic you prefer. For further details regarding the logic please read the most recent update (30th October). The option that receives the most votes by Saturday the 4th November, will be the one applied to the swap.
* You get ONE coin on the new blockchain for every FOUR Signatum V1 coins you swap to the new blockchain. All Signatum V1 coins received during the swap, will be burned.
* You get ONE coin on the new blockchain for every TWENTY Signatum V1 coins you swap to the new blockchain. You will then get to keep your Signatum V1 coins in the process too and are free to trade them afterwards. Hence no coins will be burned.

I would prefer the swap to be made like other coins already did: take a snapshot of the SIGT blockchain, and let ppl sign a message with their addresses, and provide a SIGT2.0 address. Then you can just send the coins there. That way everyone can still keep the SIGT 1.0 coins. This has been done by various other coins and it works simple. Also, all coins not claimed from the snap shot can be used for airdrops or whatever after a while (6 month or so).

Okay. Finally got the wallet to sync Smiley
  • 1. backup your address somewhere safe
  • 2. close wallet
  • 3. go to the "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming" (replace C with your windows drive location, and UserName with your user or simply click your way there
  • 4. in the "Roaming" folder find the Signatum folder and delete it (before that do step 1. and 2.
  • 5. run your wallet (it will be empty but this will trigger the "Signatum" folder to show in the "Roming" folder
  • 6. close the wallet again
  • 7. in the "Signatum" folder replace the wallet.dat with your backed up wallet (just in case it has to be named "wallet.dat")
  • 8. go to this web page https://github.com/signatumd/releases/blob/master/signatum.conf and copy all the "addnode=104.197.159.83" (just them)
  • 9. open Notepad (i would suggest Notepad++) copy the nodes in it and save the file in  "C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming"\Signatum" as "signatum.conf"
  • 10. start your wallet and wait a bit

I hope this helps someone.  Cool
Oh and a note this is for "Windows" users, I'm not sure if it will work on "Linux"

So if anyone is willing to donate  Grin
I will really appreciate any coin given Smiley

What is the dev team of 2.0 planning to do with all the SIGT they receive from the coin swap?

Why can't the holders of the original SIGT just be honored the 1/4 of SIGT 2.0 they are entitled to without having to swap? Your asking a battered coin community that has already been through a bunch of controversy to  take a risk and pick a side.

I've read the announcements and it seems legit, but I and many others thought the doctor sounded legit the last time we went through this.

If SIGT 2.0 devs are working to release a new blockchain and have an opportunity to eliminate all risk to the community why not?Huh

Why don't these devs come clean with their identities and competencies? Why hide behind pseudonyms

They have explained this. Giving their identities could jeapordize the jobs for them. Also there have been threats before. Alot of sick people in the world, and with families to care for they have decided to stay anonymous. I would have done the same if i i were part of the team.

If I were an investor I wouldn't risk my investment on a project with a shady history and run by anonymous devs.

Since there is now Signatum 2.0, are we assured that our coins from the old wallet will not be lost?

Obviously the first option

Sigt V1 = no team working on it
Sigt V2 = team working hard with transparency

Pretty easy choice, not sure why people would want to retain a coin at 20:1 that is essentially dead when 4:1 is an option.

As more details about the re-brand and swap come out, V1 price will rebound a bit for people wanting in on the swap.

If things stay on track for Sigt V2 I believe it can be a very successful project.

P.S. On a side note, NovaExchange is closing until it's re-opened by a new owner.  Shouldn't really make a difference as most of the Sigt volume comes from YoBit.  Move your coins somewhere other than Nova just to be safe.

Please make sure, that everyone here can vote. If it is not possible here, switch to another online vote tool. It's unfair for people who not posting a lot here and just read. Maybe they are more active on other channels.

The first option for the upcoming swap sounds better. I like the 1st one. Please vote for the swap.
