To me your question is kind of like "anyone here living full time on casino winnings?" I guess you could do it. You might be one of the lucky few who make it but my advice is keep your day job. Or at least have a second source of income. Remember, the house ALWAYS WINS.

Is there anyone here that is making money full time in the cryptospace? If so, can you help guide with below questions?
> What is the minimum investment a newbie needs? > How do you select an investment? > Do you HODL or day-trade? > If you day-trade - how do you pick a coin that is day-trade worthy?
Thank you in advance for your time and help!
The minimum investment depend on the capability of your pocket, the bigger the better. You need to investigate and research in order for not to lose your initial investment. I consider my self as a hybrid trader because i trade in a weekly basis and hold some profits. I usually trade the coin that i already own. I trade it to accumulate more. One key to not to lose is when you buy a certain coin make sure to get your initial capital if the coin pumps, you can also get some profits if you like. The remaining coin will be your profit and you can now play with it, remember that your capital is already in your wallet and no need to worry even if the coin dumps.

Just like any business. Make sure you can cover all your personal costs for 6 months without relying on any profit. If you dont you will make poor deccisions garanteed.

It has been a month I decided to quit my job and earn money from cryptocurrencies. I trade at hitbtc, etherdelta, bitcoin.co.id and work as bounty hunters. Trading give me daily income and bounty rewards from signature campaign gives me huge income. Now, I am full time cryptocurrency earner. it is much easier to earn crypto now because trading new tokens are profitable if we learn the token completely. How many total tokens are, How much is ICO price, and what exchangers the tokens are listed. Buy when the bounty hunters sell at low price. and sell when the price pump. It gives me 50 to 100 % profit.

I do think crypto are like poker. You have to be really good at it, and treat them professionally. This involves studying a lot, doing a lot of research, and obviously, losing money. You will never be always profitable, but if your profit are more then your losses, you can do it.
However trading crypto is crazy. It's so volatile this market that is like really gambling stuff. Now I do have 10 cryptos and all for holdin, i'm not much into trading also if next month I will have a few courses about it to learn more.

Read up, look for promisiong project, I'd say go 60% just Hodls try to start trading the other 30% on either alts you still believe are good projects but see posibilities to make a quick buck. You could star margin trading BTC little by little till you build up some confidence.

Living full time on cryptocurrency requires you to have some pretty good skills and even at that you just have to be patient at some point cause they may not really come in handy as much as you would want. However, for trading, most especially day trading, it is something you can make some pretty good income from if you have the knowledge and some funds to invest. I do some services in the crypto world and also trade as well, which has been pretty OK.

Great job opening this thread. I've read a lot of good and helpful informations.
For now, I'm investing in crypto amount I can afford to lose, been thinking about going full time on it, but I really think I need some more knowledge and practice to make living out of crypto trading. So my advice if you are going to do it for a living be sure to do you homework and learn about it thoroughly.
Best of luck out there!

If as a beginner I focus on collecting coins first, because it does not have a coin if you want to invest or want to trade can buy coins first when prices fall and sell when prices rise so that it can profit.
From the question OP have asked about day trading, and about picking a coin, I am pretty sure it is not something he would want to delve into without learning and from that question I am sure he is a newbie to trading. It takes some technical analysis to know the coin you want to trade and some pretty quick decisions if things are not going the way you want it and all this can only come with learning. You can lose as much as you want to win in trading, so it is something that you will need to treat carefully and look for resources online and most especially on youtube to learn. Start small and grow some experience too, don't rush into anything until you are sure.

Never day-trade if you want to be rich in crypto.

Me being cautious I started trading with $100, invested waiting till I made 25% then took my 25% and continued this way. Now in a healthy profit and enjoy trading in small sums right now. Hoping if I hold out I will be trading a lot more in the future

I dont investing would cost a fulltime job. Because only fulltimer altcoiners i know are miners. Miners are the ones who we can say can control the prices of coins. They must see to it that they are mining the right block. Investing on the other hand is just scattering the money and probably experiment 1st before going all in any altcoin we see that is going to give us a huge profit. Anyone and any money can be deposited but you have to gain experience in various sites, before being expert in trading altcoins.

For many, crypto currency is about the ideology behind crypto And for some it is for passing time. You can really make huge money in crypto but that been said, your day to day gain may not cover your daily expenses.

It is not advisable that you give full time for crypto currencies because as of now it is not stable. Even trading will not guaranteed that you will earn enough to support your finances. Better do this as a sort of additional income or savings. Anyway with regards to investment i did not put any money in investment here what I use is the earnings I get from signature campaign every time I earn I put it on investment I buy alt coins and hold them for a period of time.

I can suggest few things pertaining this. First of all , plz think about the investment which u can afford to loose as well as nothing is certain in this type of markets. Secondly, plz look for crypto's which are in their initial phase so that you can buy them at a very cheaper price and the qty of coins would be more and when the same comes into exchange , the results will be known as and when. Third, always do thorough research on whatever coin u choose and also know their product details and how far are they progressing as per their road map & vision . Are they intact with the modus of operandi they have chosen. These are few things which u should look for before investing.

I am in crypto from May. > I would say minimum depends on funds you can allocate for investments. I would say the standard amount is about 1000 $. > Just look on coinmarketcap top10, besides MIOTA which is I suppose a piece of shit. Then do some research, look at new projects and coins. Don't trust so much to ERC20 based tokens cuz most of them can end up in the price range 0 - 10 satoshi. > Firstly I was day-trading without knowledge how to do it. After losing quite big amount, I have decided to start HODLing, broadening and amassing my portfolio. > NO tech analysis knowledge - NO day-trade.
