It is really depends on the company, because some company don't want to use the Bitcoin because it is very volatile, like Steam, at the first, they started to use Bitcoin but after few months, they stop is because of volatility of the Bitcoin. That's one of the reasons why some people hate Bitcoin.

Companies will think a lot of times before accepting Bitcoin or other forms of crypto currencies because like what you already said crypto currencies market is very volatile and anything can happen in a short period of time. I think lessons are learned from the recent bubble pop up early this year from most of the companies that are hyped too and accepted Bitcoin as a medium of payment.

Here in my country Bitcoin is still not legalized but it is not prohibited to use and possess Bitcoin and other kinds of crypto currencies. There is a platform in our country that accepts Bitcoin payments, for example, you can pay  Electricity bill payments, Water bill payments, Internet bill payments and more.

Just relax. There will be a perfect time for that in the future. I'm sure the world is turning fully digital. It may take time of course but it is unstoppable.
