Here you go folks. New Git org and repo. https://github.com/OC-CryptoCurrency/OCP

Rebranding to pure OCP. Original thread and how it began: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1801129.0

Github code and wallets:

https://github.com/OC-CryptoCurrency/OCP
https://github.com/OC-CryptoCurrency/OCP/releases
https://github.com/OC-CryptoCurrency/OCP/releases/tag/1.0.2
Boostrap files/Chain snapshots: http://pc.cd/6sl7

Specifications:

Ticker: OCP

Block time: 5 minutes

Block reward: 50 OCP with 4 year halving

Maximum supply: 21 million OCP

Proof Of Work algorithm: SHA256T

P2P Port: 8881

RPC Port: 8882

About OCP:

OCP was announced February 22nd and launched March 1st 2017 (unix time 1488326400). There was no premine and the block reward for the first 500 blocks was 0, making the first four days of mining with 0 payout to prevent low difficulty instamine. The project was taken over by the community in the first days, developing additional services like block explorers, mining software and social networks. There is no roadmap for this project. Forking the code and developing new features is encouraged.

This cryptocurrency features a unique reward structure. Paying 0 reward for Proof Of Stake rewards, a PoS block is mined only when a transaction paying the network tx fee is present in the memory pool. Therefore the PoS reward is fees only while the PoW reward is the coinbase transaction plus fees.

The idea behind the reward structure:
- PoW miners get paid by the network for spending energy and securing the network
- PoS miners (stakers) get paid by people using the network (paying transactions fees) in the beginning that is practically zero, but the expenses of running a full node while the network is young is also close to zero (incentive to run a full node grows as the network grows or more accurately, when transaction volume grows)
- Long term competition develops in the fee market between the miners and stakers, pushing the price of fees downwards for the users.

@KimBasinger ignoring my msg so i guess moving to a new forum thread might be in order. "ups this is the new thread" In case of miracles the old threead will get locked.

How to proceed with your wallet update.

1. Shut down your wallet
2. Go to data dir (see here https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Data_directory) and look for onecoin dir
3. Linux users rename .onecoin to .ocp
4. Windows users rename Onecoin to OCP
5. OCP conf file with nodes (put it into OCP data dir): https://github.com/OC-CryptoCurrency/OCP/releases/download/v1.0.2/oc.conf

Coin code is intact only cosmetic work was done.

Have fun.

Dear BitcoinTalk community please understand that this still is s community based project launched initally by an unknow developer that is now gone in the wind. Who knows maybe it was satoshi himself going by the nickname KimBasinger. I dont know who he/she is and there is no reply from him/her. Myself and @krile simply said along the line (check thread link at the end of this post)  that we will help rebrand it from the ponzi onecoin name to pure OC as there is no hope for that coinname in true cryptoland. We are not commiting fully to this project. We will help out when time allows but we are not here to manage the community or to make this a sucsessfull cryptocurrency. There was no ICO, no premine, no fundraising. Maintaining and developing a coin, getting it listed on exchanges, building service layers is a costly and time consuming venture. If you feel like showing support or fund some work you are free to do so (check end of OP for OC and BTC donation address),

To summarize there are no bounties, no marketing bounties, there is no premine of the OC to incentivize community so dont PM me or @krile for translation job , if you wanna translate the thread you can do so freely but there is no translation bounties. If you wanna get involved you are free to do so, you dont need anyones permission.

In order to catch up on how this started read the original thread here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1801129.0. I know its a long thread but hey i we cant do the reading job for you.

Tnx for reading this. I may bump it along the line so it remains clear. Best of everything to everyone. Cheers

How to solo mine?

Only via wallet setgenerate command. But since there are GPUs on the pools i dont think its worth the while. But hey you can try just dont do it on a poorly cooled laptop or something like that.
