First, when we want to teach a newbie about bitcoin, we must have a very patient attitude and understand how bitcoin works to make everyone successful with the cryptocurencies. After that, teach them step by step about what is mining / faucet / trading or ect. and the last let them try to work alone.

Remember that Bitcoin is still beta software. Don't put all of your money into BTC!

In other words bitcoin is a digital currency where you can have control over your money and not the bankers and you can transfer it to any part of world within hours and it's the future of digital currency.

You started well the best way of explaining bitcoin to someone new to btc is making them use it and portraying the benefit of bitcoin which new user can understand only through this forum and only when he/she starts using it real time.

Thats a tough question. For me, explaining bitcoin to someone whos totally new to this is a very hard task. Especially older ones, we had to admit that young people are most technical than grandma and grandpa. But i really do believe that it just depends on the person explaining the BTC. I had read some comments/reply regarding to this and i found out that theres a lot of videos and articles that really explain well about BTC.

How Would You Explain Bitcoin to a Newbie?
BTC has value because of limited supply and an increasing number of people who accept it as money. If they want to know more, mention the "crimes and scandals" are the fault of humans and also happen with paper money.

Bitcoin in a nutshell

Pretend you are in math class, your teacher tells you to solve problems using equations, you and all your friends and classmates start doing different problems, if you successfully answer a math problem, you are given a cookie. Those cookies are Bitcoins and you are the teacher, and your classmates are the computer, you command your computer. You tell your computer to mine (solve problems), and in return you are given a small amount of Bitcoin (cookies).

Cookies?   Cheesy

Your explanation is unique, good job.

Its the future Smiley

OP did ask for something simple, and you came through.

Can you explain bitcoin in the most Simple way?
I will tell them that bitcoin is good to get some extra money and they can use it as a side line or a full time and they can trust bitcoin and they need to rank up first so they can join in every signature campaign they want.
