THE GOLDCOIN CRYPTOCOIN MINE PPS POOL IS OPEN FOR LIVE TESTING.URL: gldpps.cryptocoinmine.comPORT: 6565 Stratum PORT: LP will come online when the proportional pool is closed. I will close the proportional pool once the majority of miners have switched over to the PPS pool. PPS (Pay Per Share) payout systems are based on difficulty and block reward. Miners are not in contention to get shares of a found block. Every valid share is paid the same rate no matter how long it takes to find a block. The number of miners in the pool or pool hash rate does not effect payout. This type of system puts all the risk in the pool operators hands. Miners get paid the PPS rate regardless of luck or orphans. The PPS rate formula: (Block reward - pool fee) / difficultyFor the first week or two, I will not be charging a pool fee to encourage miners to get switched over. After that time the pool fee will be 2.5%. The higher fee is due to the much higher risk on my part, and in terms of other PPS pools is a low-average fee. You need new thred ... and probably a new block chain to go with it *nods* ...

I tried that pool for a couple hours and my account balance was only 187 with the estimated daily rewards being 13k+, my account should have been a lot higher. I switched back over to the pplns pool, as with that pool I am getting the reported estimated earnings.

You are correct, It appears I missed a hard coded variable buried in the cron job. The config file has a item for the current block reward, so it is strange there would be a hard coded number (not even a variable) in the cron jobs for block reward I will go through the payment list and multiply everybody's transactions by a factor of 15 up to this point. Thank you for catching that .

Thank you for catching that . I have sent everybody that has mined in the PPS pool (that put in a payout address), 15x what there balance was. The block reward value of 50 was hard coded in the PPS cronjob and I have since changed it to the proper value of 500. The extra 5x payment is a bonus for the trouble. I also have left the balances where they are in effect paying at a 16x rate. I need account#4 to put a payout address in so I can send you your coin.

Good to know the pool issue is 'fixed', I was referring to the current issue with the GLDcoin blockchain itself.

@dreamwatcher PPS pool seems to work flawlessly now. I just have one question. I got a warning that I have overlimit of GLD coins and need to transfer them. I had like 850 of coins, so not much at all but ok. My question is while I have been overlimit, was GLD normaly paid on my account or I lost some?

You have not lost anything. The warning was added in the latest commit of the pool software. Although I agree with the concept, I also think it is worded badly. The idea is to limit liability. If something were to happen and the pools hot wallet were lost/stolen, honest pool operators hold themselves responsible and pay the coins back out of their own pockets. I will reword the warning so it is a request, as I also think that makes miners think something is wrong, when in reality there is no error at all.

GLDTalk.org | A Heart-Felt Thank You to Developers and Staff! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SLDCUNrmtEIIn this episode of the Gold Report, MicroGuy wishes to thank his staff and forum team for an excellent job well done. This is only the beginning of Goldcoin's journey which is now designed to last for at least one hundred years. It is my honor and privilege to serve as your head coach! oh except for all the staff u treated like shit and kicked out for questioning your dumbass scam approach to pumping up the market yet giving absolute nothing of value. all the inner circle working to drop the difficulting so you can mine the crap out of it while its off the mainstream alt radar. and eventually u'll run out of steam pumping up and leave your buddies left with coins of zero value......we already know your con microguy is not to be the last one holding the bag....as you said at the beginning to me this is your lotto ticket.
