Wait, you guys were going to delete coins off of the block chain?

Please read,

In fact we still aren't planning on removing those initial block rewards, partly because of some better sense that says a bunch of those blocks are now probably in other people's hands.

We were NOT going to delete coins off the block chain and still aren't planning to.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.
Advertised sites are not endorsed by the Bitcoin Forum. They may be unsafe, untrustworthy, or illegal in your jurisdiction.

What I read is "we thought about it but realized everyone would immediately abandon the block chain".

I quit hanging around "the GLD crowd" a long time ago. I didn't realize how crazy  things had gotten.

someon said earlier that gld was being taken off cryptsy.com. whether rumor or truth, well it depends on who you ask.

My negative trust rating is reflective of a personal vendetta by someone on default trust.

jackjack is ignored Grin

just a reminder that there is an ignore button under the users name on the left, and you can just ignore them
Lol why? You say you own 100k coins, just prove it
Oh by the way, looks like you don't know how the forum works... Or you'd know I know you didn't ignore me.

Ignored why?  Because he can spot a scam?

I will never attend an anti-war rally; if you have a peace rally, invite me. ~ Mother Teresa

What does this mean? Basically, this means that whatever we give our energy to makes it stronger. The advice to ignore the noise and playful multi-personality distractions is correct. It is the proper way of handling this wild west of a thread. Let's all learn how to use the ignore feature and focus on the job at hand. By following that advice myself, I can now successfully navigate this thread (and the forum as a whole) and engage in intelligent and serious conversation.

We must all now focus on making this coin stronger and widely adopted as money by the masses in the outside World. This is where we need to focus our energy and not on those that wish to disrupt our progress.

A sincere thanks to everyone productively participating in our community. It is you that will soon make the vision a reality.

So much lulz over here
Is asking a guy who states he owns 100k coins to prove it trolling?
I'd really like an answer

Hi guys I am a miner since 500block time was coming. I am mining solo atm because vircupool does not give me the expected coins per day. I think the prices atm went down because cryptsy was offline and nobody was trading. It will go higher since more people know thats online now again. I suggest to make an own website for my germany community to know this coin better and to better promote it. I see one of the big problem with GLD is that it has got to make fake websites and forum, people dont know where to look at for information. But now the official Website is out now gldcoin.com its better now and nobody has to search for the GLD Program Files, but on this website there is a standard template with no other information and history of this coin. All Updates has to go to the official Site!!!!
