Hello, I'm thinking about putting some BTC on OmiseGO but I noticed that there's another project aiming to do similar things; Humaniq.
OmiseGo has received allot of hype but it seems that they don't actually have anything functioning yet.
I'm wondering if it is actually a good buy, it's hyped beyond measurement but there's no concrete evidence to back up all this.
Meanwhile Humaniq seems to be publically doing more than OmiseGO.

Now please don't tell me to go with both; I kind of want to make this an if/or kind of thing, what do you recognize would be a solid investment? OmiseGo has a wallet coming out this quarter or some kind of infrastructure that will allow it to be accessed by ''all'' but I wonder if this coin's hype can backlash. I think allot of people have settled on OmiseGO as a monthly reinvestment (averaging) in the hopes of skyrocket prices like Ethereum. Speaking about Ethereum Vitalik seems to always wear OmiseGo t-shirts.

Though I get a vibe from humaniq that's more professional and makes progress faster. Though this doesn't mean that Humaniq will be anywhere Omise is now. So I thought maybe you guys could help shed some light on the subject so I can make a better decision.

Shoot away all that you think/speculate and hope for, be critical or shill out I don't care. Just want to hear some different perspectives.

99% of ICO's mostly dreams and talk

Better to look for older proven projects that are well on their way to finishing their road maps.

I suspect most of these ico's like 70% or greater will never never finish or get half way through their road maps before draining the dev funding via huge developer costs (their wages) .... before starting a new ico.

I don't look specifically at OMG or humaniq with this finger but I am weary of of ico promises.

Besides the fact ico's in general could be on shaky ground in future.

Yeah I got kind of worried since OMG doesn't have any infrastructure up yet, just a vision, no roadmap, didn't see a whitepaper aswell. The development is really slow I mean this ICO must have been what? July? And you still don't have anything to show for? That doesn't look good.. but then again the market eventually decides and if the market decides that a release of some infrastructure in Q4 is worth 25 dollars well... fuck me.. Humaniq clearly shows effort, engaging into communication with businesses to start accepting their coin so that people can benefit, launching local exchanges to give access to crypto etc etc. But then.. Vitalik is sort of endorsing Omisego with wearing the t-shirts EVERYWHERE. So are they just really keen on their privacy and is there more to the project or does Vitalik like to give into the hype a bit aswell. The idea is sound, but it still needs proper excecution. I think OMG was also the first that came with an idea to do this in this specific way.

hmm, certainly a fresh idea as people here are endorsing OMG a lot. But if you plan to ask around without researching much, crypto might be too risky for you. please research more on yourself, OMG whitepaper can be easily found in their website.

Who says I don't do research? And yes I found their whitepaper was a bit hidden though. Just thought it be interesting to hear others perspective, no I'm not asking for investment advice. I'm asking for perspective. And I'm doing quite alright in crypto thank you.
