800 YAC bounty if you can get my four gigabyte 7950s over 35khs.
Running Xubuntu 12.04. Compiled mikaelh latest.  If intensity is over 10 I get 100% HW errors. If TC is over 8192 it won't start.
Please PM me.

settings?

Code:
yacminer  --scrypt --worksize 256 -g 1 --lookup-gap 2 -I 18 --thread-concurrency 8120

I have 7870 card too, but with that settings driver crash and restart Sad

Which driver and miner version do you use?

My working only with settings and giving only 768  Hash (not KHs):
setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

yacminer --scrypt --worksize 256 -g 1 -I 8 --thread-concurrency 8120 -o p2pool.org:12575

Create new AltCoins, update existing. Please pm with proposals. BTC: 1LbVvrNZAb3RB8fgHkc93PHkMKUsbdDgsq

Is anyone out there who are  succesfully mine YACOIN with cgminer Huh
Is it possible to mine it with GPU or only with CPU ?

I cant get cpuminer nor cgminer to work.
Always get error message "no reply by empty server"
or
if hashes, then all package rejected, 0 accepted.

Help or advice (proper settings) needed !!!
Could You please one of You who are mining give me a proper command line ?

Thank You in advance for ur replies...

Hi I downloaded Yacoin miner yacminer-3.3.1-yac2-windows-x86 and yacminer-3.3.2-yac2-x86.

My settings are

yacminer --device 0 --scrypt --worksize 256 --lookup-gap 2 -I 11 --thread-concurrency 8192 -o <URL> -u <username> -p <password>

as mentioned in the forum.

The miner keeps on finding new blocks but fails to register any shares. I've tried almost all the pools.
I am only getting around 18kh/s on an r9 280x but like I said only finding new blocks and not registering shares.

Can someone help me start mining?

Would be great. Thanks

Download the latest version by thirtybird, yacminer 3.4.0 or something, go back 2 or 3 pages for the link.

Are you getting hardware errors? Your intensity is too high I think.

Check out the settings used for other GPUs here http://yacoinwiki.tk/index.php/Mining_Hardware_Comparison

anyone know the command line to Scrypt R9 280x - GV-R928XOC-3GD

Everyone is going to come up with different results, and someone elses settings may not work for you.

Try the following and tweak from there.

Code:
yacminer --scrypt --worksize 256 -g 1 --lookup-gap 4 -R 2048 --thread-concurrency 51968 -o stratum+tcp://yac.coinmine.pl:9088 -u Thirtybird.envygpu -p x  --no-submit-stale --nfmin 4 --nfmax 30 --starttime 1367991200

Well, I saw one accepted share, but I think the effective mining rate is very low now.

It's a 6850 with 1GB of memory, I wonder if GPU's with more memory are faring better.

They are. at least 2gb and play with lookup gap.

You're better off mining myriad coin groestl with it me thinks...have you tried? I can get 2.35kh/s on an R7 240 2gb.

Disclaimer - update to yacminer 3.5.0 is required to follow this advice...

You need to allocate more memory. 760 MB is not enough - Double it and go higher if you can.  Use "--buffer-size 1664" instead of your thread concurrency setting.  That will let you use more shaders without running out of memory.  If you do that, you can push -R to ~3300 without any other changes to your config

you need to have the automake tools and dependancies and then run the autogen.sh before running make.  It looks like you ran your own configure statement without the --enable-scrypt setting

you need to have the automake tools and dependancies and then run the autogen.sh before running make.  It looks like it's going off an old config.

I run it on a new folder like this:

./autogen.sh
CFLAGS="-march=native -O3" ./configure
make

tried also running "make clean" but same problem.
other cgminer variants and yacminer 3.4 do compile fine.

EDIT: if I don't run configure after autogen.sh, it works :-)

You're fast - I updated my analysis when I looked at the code

you forgot --enable-scrypt in your configure statement

you could just run autogen.sh too (unless you don't like things easy Smiley)
