Is it possible to use bitcoin like offline currency?

At the moment it's not possible to use bitcoin like offline currency. To achieve the same fiat convenience, bitcoin has a long way to go. The advantage of bitcoin is obvious but there are still many disadvantages. Hope we can see this in the near future.

If someone asks whether Bitcoin can be used just like offline currencies, best thing to do is ask them a question whether Gold can be used for online activities. Gold is normally what we use to compare Bitcoin, and it can’t be used online except offline.

So the same thing is what applies to Bitcoin, except that Bitcoin can be used online and not offline. Both of them are the opposite of each other.

I think it is not possible, you would have to create some kind of "LAN" cryptocurrency, but it totally doesnt make sense for me, why would you use some cryptocurrency that is only available to use between few computers connected with one, same internet?

I don’t know what you talking about ,but you seem not to get the question. The op was asking if it’s possible for him to make use of Bitcoin offline. And to the op, there is no way you can use Bitcoin offline, cause it is only meant it be a digital stock and not a currency, therefore requires no physical form.

Unless you will kind of use your Bitcoin and convert it to physical form by using to construct/build it with a BTC sign on it, but nobody would even look at you. You better find some kind of material to wear it as a medal lol, cause what you made was a medal and is no Currency.

it is not possible to use bitcoin offline, It's an online transactions so it requires a network to work throughout and deliver instruction and sets of command given by each users, except there are other means which I don't know or too sure of.

Yes, internet is necessary to make use of bitcoin unless you just want to convert all you have to fiat first and then make use of it.

Yes its not obviously possible to use it offline because bitcoin is created to use online and not like a physical money. I think the best answer for this is to study, guide him or teach him more about the differences between those online and offline currency but I think the TS already said the right answer so he should not be worry about how he responded to the question

Yes this is true when you know it that it is crypto then why does it bothers you? But I think there are critics who are problematic. If it was to used like fiat then why did someone switch to crypto? The banks are there to serve for the purpose of online transactions.
We need to understand it and to make it clear to others that everything has it's own value and purpose with both the pros and cons.

Everything you do will all come down to you exchanging private keys, and for that reason it will always be based on trust. I would never ever trust something like that personally -- I just trust on my own cold wallets, and that's really it.

Yeah it to risk to process. can't able to use to process and can't able to change the bitcoin. Transaction is not work. So it not easy to use to working process. It loss more and not work to future. Bitcoin is online process. So it nee to countine the people for the networking process. It will use to only for the networking no internet not in use for the future growth.

When we do talk about offline currency then we would use bitcoin on physical form which isnt possible at all because we do know that we do need internet to make use of bitcoin and also its a digital currency after all and dont have any physical form that would be used on offline. If theres no internet then it cant be used for sure but yet even though it cant be used physically or offline but come to think off that there merchants that do accept bitcoin as a payment just like on having our own traditional credit or debit cards which do really give convenience.Adoption is on the move which we should really not worry too much regarding on how we gonna use it.

For now bitcoin has no created physical money can we used to spend in offline but i think there is a possibility in the near future there are person could develop coin or paper money of bitcoin. Yes. However, where bitcoin now surpasses gold is that some wallet are now coming up with cards connected to your wallet which can make you spend your funds without having to login every time.
All you just need to do is to withdraw your funds directly from the ATM or just make use of POS for payment. Over time, the usage of bitcoin would become an easy thing in our daily lives that everyone would become so accustomed to it.

Bitcoin is a digital currency in which you can't use without internet connection..Hoping there'll be a reloadable Bitcoin card someday which can be use even without internet connection..
