One question... coinsmarkets.com has set this coin as Stake Coin and you can earn coins by staking it... how is this possible if YTN isn't a stake coin?  Huh Huh

imo there is no staking system

the ann lists a very detailed roadmap for the next several years you just need to read it carefully.

LOL that is why I was asking as mining isnt really a roadmap. Initially at launch I got the feeling it might be adult related but I could be wrong.

There is also some small modification to add the algo to the php gui.

How do I pool mine? Huh

Could some one guide me please.

Go to https://github.com/conan-equal-newone/yenten/releases, and download mining software (e.g. yenten_win64_1.1.0.zip, but it depends from your configuration, i assume you'r on Win 10 64 bit).

Once downloaded and unpacked, you could execute minerd.exe like the following:

minerd.exe -a yescryptr16 -t 3 -o stratum+tcp://pool.bilbotel.fr:6234 -u YOUR_ADDRESS -p c=YTN

The command above (in which you must replace YOUR_ADDRESS with your yenten wallet address) means we launch minerd.exe with yescriptr16 algorithm (the one used by YenTen), three threads (-t 3, but you can adjust this parameter as needed), on pool.bilbotel.fr, port 6234 (Nillecram's pool). In the password field, using that pool, we must specify the type of coin we'll mine (-p c=YTN).

That's it. After a little, when shares start to be submitted to pool, you could check your results at http://pool.bilbotel.fr/?address=YOUR_ADDRESS (once again, substitute YOUR_ADDRESS with your Yenten wallet address). As you gain a balance in the pool, every couple of hours a payment will take place, and you'll see the due YTN coming to your wallet

If you configure less than 3 threads, that a lot of "boooo" on the pool.

It's because block time is too short and minimum difficulty is too high.

I did not find how to set a lower difficulty than 1.
I should investigate miner source code perhaps. But i don't have enough time.

Btw, i would like to point something that seems not right to me :
Code:
diff --git a/stratum/algos/yescrypt-opt.c b/stratum/algos/yescrypt-opt.c

Is that normal that we have this hard coded string : "Client Key" instead of salt ?
It took me 4 days to understand ...
