Well the website clearly says-

"Yenten is only for 21y or older man.
Girls, kids, plz get out now."

I'm a crypto girl so I guess I need to get out now.

Wow, this is a joke!

This coin can be mined using the miner by joblo which can be found here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1326803.0

Example of command line :
Code:
cpuminer-aes-avx -a yescrypt -o ypool.co:2010 -u YmD9HuZywQDSzFEjcbdFWgT4xtVUFiSAUD -p x

Are you seeing orphans?  You must be, right?  80 KH/s and no blocks?

Also this pool guy's account has one post, so be cautious about pointing your hash.

Guys I think the pool has no blocks because he's using yescrypt for the pool, not the right algo for coin (which dev calls yescryptR16).

This may actually be a new algo, which would be pretty cool.  But we need to wait to learn more, I'm not sure of this.

Even if it's a small modification to yescrypt, it's pretty cool having another cpu-only coin.  But I do think the dev needs to present it a little more professionally.  If he does that, I'd be thrilled to be an early adopter in the first few weeks.

yenten_minerd_source.zip

yescrypt.c is not same as old cpuminer source.
in this week, we can mine only by yenten_minerd. (or "setgenerate true")
yenten_minerd seems to have SSE, AVX, AVX2 futures.
maybe already optimized.

Do I need to forward port 9982? Or did I not put enough info in my command like adding a user or password?  (coinbase address ommited)

E:\yen>minerd.exe -a yescryptr16 -o localhost:9982 -u user -p password --coinbase-addr=********
[2017-10-28 17:43:38] 1 miner threads started, using 'yescryptr16' algorithm.

etc...

I was having the same issue. You can mine directly from the qt wallet by going to the debug console and entering: setgenerate true -1

Would appreciate anyone's help with the minerd batch file and the conf file for the wallet, as well.

Sounds weird. Roadmap, 2017 CPU mining, exchange, etc. 2018 CPU mining, exchange, etc. They are the same for 3-year period from 2016-2018. Are you serious, dev?

how to solo with minerd?

on windows go to your appdata/roaming foler and fine the Yenten directory
you need to create a new files called yenten.conf

paste this into it:

daemon=1
server=1
gen=1
port=9981
rpcport=9982
rpcuser=username
rpcpassword=password

Addnode=133.130.66.167:9981
Addnode=52.3.229.122:9981

the addnodes where cust one my client found when I first started it
make sure the file extension is .conf and .txt

close and reopen your wallet

now with your cpu mining software you need to setup your batch file
this is what mine looks like

minerd.exe -t 8 -a yescryptr16 -o localhost:9982 -u username -p password --coinbase-addr=Yg9V2QcATdh47NvPquo1HuE7T2e83Jaewg
PAUSE

the - t is the number of threads
the coinbase addr change to your address

should be good to go

Thanks!  Which wallet address should I give, ETH or BTC or LTC?  Do I need to make a .bat file or can I just enter that into the command prompt?

Finally got this up and running on Linux mining through the console. I tried minerd but didn't see the point since I'm getting the same hashrate through the console. This is probably a stupid question, but I've never mined solo before, how do I tell when I've mined a block?

If/when you mine a block, you will receive Yenten in your Yenten Wallet.

Unless you are a girl or a small child. Yenten is not for girls or small children...
