I have an uncle if not mistaken he has 40 BTC, he bought in 2011 .. he sold some for the necessities of life and by 2017 he sold 10 BTC to buy homes and cars .. he said if the rest of BTC he now will only be in store for the future ahead of his son

Very few. Most are here for the immediate gains. I am hoping to get as many good coins as I can right now and hold them for say 2-4 years. Right now, I'm still having some contingencies.

maybe it less than 10% because there are no research about this and we don't know how many people that still hold their bitcoin up to 3 years. but for me, I think I am holding my bitcoin from the middle of 2015 until now and I sell at least quarter from the total amount of bitcoin that I have and I think I will sell again after the price could increase more than $19k. besides we don't know how many people that still hold their bitcoin, we cannot know how much bitcoin hold by each of that people and it still big question for me.

Few that were able to endure and hold bitcoin since then till now are in huge profits and people that were panicing like what is happening now are now regretting. Bitcoin is the future of our financial system and there is no limit to how far it can go. We need to find out the right time to but in other to be able to males profit out of it.

Maybe a few were holding back then, a lot though might have sold out with bitcoin's huge price climbs last year.
Holding bitcoins for years must have been a real test of will, 3 years ago bitcoin would have struggled gaining or
reaching the $300 mark. Monitoring it would have caused any investor suspicion, doubt and even a bit of panic
at some point. There's really no way of telling the accurate statistics on the subject, but a lot are holding bitcoins
today. It's change ever since bitcoin reached $20k, it changes the market and the people. I think it's safe to say a
lot of people are still gonna hold their bitcoins 3 years from now.

If it is suppressed I think it is very small. Possible only 10% of all investors who have Bitcoin. Because they will not be able to hold Bitcoin for that long, surely within 3 years the market price goes up and down once. Only people who have full courage can do this. But I really salute if any of you ever do it. I'm sure you who dare to hold Bitcoin as long as it must now earn a profit that many times over what you plant.

I would have done it easily. I am now running on my 4th year of btc holding

Holding of the bitcoin is the easiest thing to do and is in fact the most profitable thing to do as well but the only problem is not all of us are this much patient that they can wait for such a long period of time and at the end, they decide to sell all their bitcoins even if the market value is dropping down.

You need to make yourself understand that holding is the only thing which can change your life and then things will be much easier for you to manage.

I think we can make some survey that will ask the people about how long they join in bitcoin world so at least we have calculation about how many people which still hold their bitcoin for more than 3 years. we can do on this forum or in other forums but I think it will be hard since I think only a few people that will join in that surveys.

Many people hold bitcoin for a long time because they know it's profitable and they've made a lot of money out of it.

But I've been holding bitcoin for six months, and I feel like I'll hold it for two more years.

Because bitcoin prices are rising day by day, although today the value of bitcoin and other coins is falling in value, then people will save Bitcoin for years. They have many benefits. I think there are people who have held Bitcoin for more than 2 years. Because there are many people who have bought bitcoins cheaply and have made long-term investments.

You may be right at your own place but I think of bitcoin as the best way pf investing of money and that you also need to spare some time to study well about this crypto coin.

If you will not make any investment in bitcoin, then the only thing which you will have in your life is the money which you have in your account. You will not be able to multiply that money or to have a chance of living a better life. You really need to review your decision for your betterment.

A lot of people actually and I don’t think they will tell everyone that they have bought bitcoin at a certain amount and have hold them for 3 years or more, some of them prefered to be discreet about it and enjoy the profits freely without everyone knowing. And I am actually aiming to hold bitcoins and other altcoins for 4-5 years and compare its price when I bought it until it’s current price by then.
