With a lot of FUDs and declines that is happening these days, I don't think that they will be able to hold it for that long period of time. Most of the investors on digital currencies are short term holders. And digital currencies has a tendency of pumping its price to unbelievable price in a short period of time so 3 years is a long time to hold it.

Yes I'm pretty impressed on those who hold bitcoin for 3 years or even more, even though the prices are dropping drastically if they sell it now they still get a big profits, but I'm not sure anyone's holding bitcoin that long, as we know that we do not know the price of bitcoin in the future.

I won't feel anything special if Bitcoin is hitting $50K in next 3 years unless and until there is some utility value for the same. I am eagerly waiting to use Bitcoins for my offline transactions without converting it in the fiat currency. I am willing to gain that sense of uniformity on a global level in the financial sector with Bitcoin and price is a secondary factor in this whole process.

Last year when the value of bitcoin becomes $20k many people has been dreaming that their hard earned money could  make them profitable too by investing in bitcoin that they have proven enough that it will gonna reach that kind of amount someday or few years from now, so for sure millions of people will gonna hold their bitcoin too.

First of all to the op, were you able to hold your Bitcoin for 3 years? I don’t think anyone has been able to do that, no matter how much you think you know about Bitcoin. I have not been able to do it, all I usually do is invest money when the price falls to the lowest and wait for it to reach a target price, then I will withdraw my profit. I can’t invest and hold for years, you never know the outcome. But if you’re able to hold for as long as that, then good luck with it. Everyone can’t be doing the same thing.

There are actually people that holds Bitcoin for 3 years and I think those are the big whales. Having so much Bitcoin in their account then they can probably hold it not just 3 years but more than year because Bitcoin keeps increasing as the year is passing by. For ordinary people who only have little amount of Bitcoin will also probably will sell because they already earned enough profit.

Probably so much since that time they are one of the first batch of people who recognized Bitcoin in its early time and being updated is very hard I guess, so by this time I believe they are probably making this real, they are mow successful nowadays and they have start up their business already, and the fact that they have gain so much from holding I guess they have now invest it to stock market I may not know the exact price but I believe that costs a lot.

One thing you should know is that Bitcoin is kind of a bit manipulative and the best thing you can do is to set a target and withdraw once you might have accomplished your target or give it a little more time before withdrawing.What I mean is that there are people who usually manipulate the price of Bitcoin and they withdraw immediately before the main investors withdraw. So if you don’t want to be part of those that will end getting that year, it will be best to do the right thing at the right time.

Yeah you are right, you got to have a goal or something like a plan that you have to follow. Don't be too greedy that you want too much profit in this. If you think that you have already gain profit with your holdings then better to withdraw and plan for your next move. You know cryptocurrency is so unpredictable that anything can happen in just a matter of days.

Typically, Bitcoin investors in 2009 will probably have Bitcoin holdings for three years or longer. but now it's just enough to make a profit, people will sell bitcoin and wait for the price to fall and then sell again when the price increases.

I think that the person who will answer yes to this question should be continuing his luxury life instead of hanging around. This situation has affected everyone's life without regard to small or large investments. It will also be a hodl winner but we have seen many millionaires have succeeded in winning the money in this market. Maybe one day we will have a altcoin rich with the hope that we continue to chase bounty or signature campaign around here.

They are holding bitcoins because they believe that it has high potential to rise its price at the top of the mountain. And this is true a lot of people who are holding bitcoins are now getting rich because bitcoins offer huge profit when hold for a long time. So better buy, save and hold while the price is low.

For sure there are lots of bitcoin holders.I had read news about them that they started holding their btc since then and get luck when btc value boosted.They earned a lot of money because of it.Lucky for them that they patiently holded their btc for a long time because it is really hard to do it coz it will test your patience.

Yeah, those who are utilizing it as an asset are the ones who are able to hold it for such a long time span. These people are not in urgent need of money and they are not experiencing any kind of financial problems in their lives which provides them with an opportunity of making money in huge amount. These holders are not going to sell bitcoin at the present value at any cost. They want something huge.

I can not predict this because in my opinion last year bitcoin is very unimaginable just imagine bitcoin prices in 2009 is only about $ 10 and now bitcoin prices ever print the highest price of more than $ 20k and make all do not believe with this incident bitcoin become crazy and making everyone who held him from the year 2009 became very rich.

There are many holders will hold their bitcoin for too long because they believe in bitcoin like their own self because of its profit if bitcoin don't have a high value and its not cost high profit do you think that people or users will invest and hold bitcoin for long? Maybe those guys invest in bitcoin were really intended to hold bitcoin for a long term and because of them many will encourage to invest too. So the market value of bitcoin will up and up that's why, if there's no new investors appear there will be no changes its value.
