It is a common myth that Bitcoin is ruled by a majority of miners. This is not true. Bitcoin miners "vote" on the ordering of transactions, but that's all they do. They can't vote to change the network rules.

try to search here and look for the member that has a positive trust, that person you can hire as an escrow and deserve to trust because they have done a lot of useful activity inside this forum, note: never ever hire a newbie-member rank account without back ground check or recommended by the other trusted member to avoid you to scam.

I think people in that list is really trusted. You can also use Decoded as Escrow, he manages some of the campaigns here and I think he is really trusted by other members. He currently have 22 trust rating, you can check him here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2327425.0

I never used any of them but most of them that are in the list are recommend and trusted. I saw there are some escrows that are not on the list but still recommended, like bl4nkcode.

My suggestion is don't just believe those people that are offering escrow service if they don't have any history of trading.

Stick with those trusted escrows and that's how the trust rating works here in forum, you can feed back from the people who used their service for escrowing.

Thanks for the recommendation dude Smiley

Anyway I want to include this list of escrows on bitcointalk which is the updated one, not the link posted of OP. The last update was on the 8th of this month.
Link of the list: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=276897.0

And there must be several trusted escrow but always use those who have the recent trade activity of escrow.

No mater who your dealing with, never send a large amount of coins all at once. That's a good general rule of thumb and any good escrow will be willing to do multiple transactions to accommodate for this just make sure to tip then after.

That list is actually quite incomplete.

The OP has not been updated for 2 years so it's not really surprising. If you want to look for escrows then go onto the services section and look for options there, but everyone on the list that's still active, has been used by many people and are extremely trusted.

I haven't used any of them myself but i've seen others trust them with thousands of dollars.

I was about to comment that list of escrows that you've made but I can't find elsewhere since the other escrow thread for isn't too active with it's OP.

Don't mention it and I've seen some other unpopular escrow on your list.

I agree with Welsh, don't send large amount at the same time. When you transact, do the famous quote of slowly but surely.

Haven't used escrow (no need of that for me) but had many deals with minerjones, really many deals with many $ and as I know he offers escrow service/team. I suggest you this person, honest and supportive too when you have deal with him. I trust this person. Also you can try almost everyone who is on list. Oh forgot to say, I think better in small deals would be SFR10, this man is amazing and very supportive, very honest too and active.
Try yahoo, luptin, lauda if you want, they are online here very often. But my favourites are SFR10 and minerjones, believe me, you will be pleased with dealing them.

I always tried to use escrow only because i dont trust in anyone, you all know that everybody wants to steal your bitcoins at all cost. It doesnt matter how good looks the item that you want to buy, i always use bitify for buying some stuff without the needing of using someone else as a escrow, bitify is so fast because you can release your escrow whenever your want, only for paying a little fee of five percent.
It is one of my favourites, i really like this one.

I used this guy a couple times, honest - knew his shit. Do your own due diligence though. he is a part of a larger network of escrow agents.
