Buy BTC and leave it in your private wallet where you control the  private key. After February, 3 to 4 Bitcoin forks will pass and you can get free coins with it.

With BTC you can know for sure, that you'll receive a profit anyway.
ICO's situation is much more difficult - you have to spend a lot of time to choose the right one. But in the end, the time spent will pay off.

Depends on a lot of factors man.

Bitcoin is very expensive and you would just sit on it. It is a lot safer but also not as exciting.

Personally I would invest into Ethereum, save some and invest some into some interesting ICO's (around 15-20% invest keep the rest). ETH is still growing and also you are diversifying your wallet.

Good approximation because the division of the money is important in investments. Somebody only buys bitcoin or joins ico but they don't think about the possible outcomes of this action. Always go with mixture of the coins.

First, you need to dertemine what you want to do : Day trading order hold for long-term , mid-term. If you want to day trading, altcoins are also a good option. You can spend 30% your fund to trading daily and the rest is for invest for mid-term and long-term. There are too much ICO , and we can not evaluate whether it is good or not. BTC is at a high price level, so i think you should invest good altcoins. My opinion  Smiley Smiley

Bitcoin is the best answer because the price keeps on increasing rapidly every week it can raised up to 4000% for just a week, this is a true bubble for bitcoin.

I think that is better to invest in any or some altcoins than invest in Bitcoin, because investing in BTC you will gain some profits however depends how the market is going, I mean BTC is so volatile that in any time will be down your price and it will be depressing if you already invest any amount. Furthermore investing in altcoins (obviously you have to investigate what are ones that will be worthy enough) you will gain more profits because depending how it grows you probably will get at least 100% of you capitalize.

I posted this thread because I  have money right now and was thinking to like invest!
I wanted to know is it is beneficial to invest in new ICO, or should I just buy some BTC and wait for the value to increase.

I hope you went with BTC! If you have no investment in crypto, you need to start with some BTC and then later you can branch out into ICOs .

Hey man! It all depends on the ICO you are investing. For me the ICO have made great returns, like x25 times and x64 times my inicial invest. Bitcoin on the other hand can take some time to raise, or can even drop. I would say to do a very good research on ICOs that have a really good idea, team, marketing campaign, worthy bounties, and so on… and even the project threads and markets. As there are several shitty projects all around, there are other really good ones that can lead you to have a decent profit out of your investment

for now what i can suggest to you is to buy more bitcoin, as bitcoin will continue grows until the first month of the upcoming year ! (2018) well if you do have somee ethereum on your wallet you can buy new ICO as long as you are using ETH as we are not expecting a mass growth on that alt.. maybe next year is the time of ethereum but i love the pump they made last late november !

It seems to me that a newbie can simply invest in the BTC and this will definitely bring him profit. This is less risky than the investing in ICO. But you can allocate a small amount for investing in ICO as well.

I think this decision should be based on the investor's capacity on how much he/she can invest.BTC is on the high side as it requires much more than ICO.

If you are a good trader, buy btc and trade it with alts to get more btc and if you are not ICO is your best choice.
There's too many coins that aren't worth the coins anymore.
You can make money through investing in Bitcoin now and selling it later.

IMHO the best solution to hold at least 60% in BTC. With rest one you can do what you want. Try to invest in ICO and some other alts. Take look at pump'n'dump groups at 3% at your money. It will be a good lesson for you. 5% to free signals to trade on signals to understand what it is too

Yes! This is another approach.  You can also buy some BTC for long term investment, and play a little with other crypto/ICOs with less money, and thus decrease the risk of loosing in one single transaction/invest.

Whatever amount your thinking of investing altogether, put half into bitcoin and half into altcoins. if the alcoins multiply by 5, you'll have a lot more money than if you have it sitting in bitcoin
