I can recommend SMS as a good ICO to invest right now. They have been through their pre-sale and phase 1 of ICO and got cap for their project. Anyone interested phase 2 is just about to start on next weeks.

SMS is a platform for Influencers, so anyone looking to make money online should be interested. Any ICO marketing, any bounty, advertizers, publishers, brands... Anyone involved in the making money industry though social media is welcome to study the project and participate!
They even give out tips and ideas on how to be a good influencer!

I posted this thread because I  have money right now and was thinking to like invest!
I wanted to know is it is beneficial to invest in new ICO, or should I just buy some BTC and wait for the value to increase.

I do not think investing in bitcoin is still profitable, because bitcoin prices have decreased more than increase, and if you want to invest your money in new ico project, you have to be careful and do your own research about ico project, because lately very many ico projects are emerging, and many also fail or worse that is a scam project

If you long for the possible big profit invest in the ICO but try to be careful and read plans and whitepaper thoroughly because many ICOs are disappointing their investors in the end. Are you striving to become the millionaire or are you striving for the still risky but closest to safe option? If you invest in the promising ICO that is still in the phase of the pre-ICO you have the possibility to gain big profit in the far future if you have invested big money there. Just look at the Ethereum that has right now achieved the price of 1000 dollars. On its very starts, you could buy their tokens for the same amount of money. Bitcoin is, on the other hand, fluctuating a lot but that fluctuations are allowing you to buy Bitcoin when its value is in the falling phase. Every investment and buying is risky but I would recommend you the Bitcoin and the decisions are up to you. I would personally buy Bitcoin because I believe in its future growth and it is more secure than the altcoins. Hence, everything is dependable on the wishes you long for.

It depends on you, I know that you are aware that bitcoin is profitable and the ICO's also is a good way to increase our money but ICO's have high risk because some of the ICO's are scam.

The first thing is, you have to see the idea of its project,
manager, and then their team.
Don't forget to check on its whitepaper too, if you feel that those ICO will become huge, than don't be worry to invest on them, BTC is not bad too, bad in my opinion join, participate, and invest in new ICOs will be a great income too later. i hope this can be useful

Why not just divide or split up your money into both. If in btc, you have assurance that your going to have a profit while in ICO, there's a possibility that you'll get scammed. So you better research about the ICO and if it's getting so much attention, that's a good indication but don't expect too much. You can make good profit in both.

You must be very careful when you plan to invest in ICOs.
As you must have already read the forum, 90% + ICOs are nothing but SCAM, this is what most of us have learned the hard way, however, real potential ICOs are also the most prominent investment.
Before taking any ICO into consideration for investment, you must go through the whitepaper to understand what is the project and what they want to achieve. Secondly, if there is even a slight/small grammatical or any other mistake in the whitepaper, turn it down straight away. Good ICOs are very careful about their whitepaper and never do mistakes.

Now, the second step is to check the team of project, the CEO,CTO, etc. are they known names and are they expert in the blockchain industry.
Make sure you check the advisory teams as well.

Next, check who/which companies are backing them up, what if the ICO investment gets hacked (like in the case of coindash, are they backed up to return your money or not).

Again, there are a lot many good ICOs, I am keeping my eyes open for ICOs that are NEO based, the reason being, they are limited and are actually being verified and validated by NEO.

Always Do a lot of research before investing in ICOs and all the best for your future investments.

If you have doubt with ICOs, your safest bet is buying BTC and also diversify your portfolio with some strong ALTs like ETH, NEO, STRAT, etc.

Investing in ICO is risky but at the same time, we have a chance to get good profits. Some good ICOs can multiply your investments.
As per your investment keep some investment for ICOs. And remaining invest in bitcoin.

I like to invest and get much more than just by hodling BTC so I choose the first option. But also I have BTC (and ETH) to diversify my risks.

Agree on this. We should know how to diversify, don't put all eggs in one basket, investing on different ICO are also good, because ICO is really good investment because in ICO , you can buy there in still low amount of price of particular coin.

if you want to profit I would suggest you buy bitcoin, but if you want to profit like something bigger and fast growing I suggest to invest in ico, but investing in ico is risky, so it is important also to research the project that you will take .

Bitcoin is more stable than ICOs. Bitcoin has survived in the crypto market for years, have healthier chart pattern and corrections, ICO would bring more profit if the investment is correct if you like a stable investment then invest more in bitcoin.

Many of us afraid to loss money because its the first prioprity in this crypto world. When you buy bitcoin you are like saving your money for 2-3 years from now and you cant know whats the price of bitcoin on that time, but when you invest ICO with doing a research on the project that you want to invest you can make sure that you can profit. That time 2-3 years from now your btc would be double if you pick the right ICO for investment. Good luck for your choice mate. its all up to you now,.

First you have to decide what part of your funds you are ready to lose) This part can be allocated for ICO.  Here you can earn very well, but you can also completely lose.  Be prepared for this.  And distribute the rest of the money between the already existing altc.  And do not forget to leave some of the funds for BTC and ETH

on my opinion, you should choose both of investing in a new ICO and Buying BTC. However, before you invest in any ICO, i think you should research carefully about this ICO. Hope you have the right decision !!

I think the best way is do both) BTC already hit the chart  Roll Eyes You can also find ICO which may gain more than 1000-1500% profit. 40% of funds for BTC and 60% for the new ICOs.

I would recommend to share your investment risks: 30% buy only Bitcoin. At 30% buy top altcoins, and the remaining 40% risk investing in new projects! Well, or trading.

There are many options for you but if you choose venture capital then it is best to participate in ICO projects because your earning potential is certainly high but if you choose safe investments you want to keep Long term to make a profit Bitcoin is the absolute choice for you
