With such poor managed swap procedure, the price of PURE plummeted to below $1 in the last few weeks.
What a terrible movement for PURE investors!

If I'm not mistaken, there's still no date for the swap. I can be wrong but that's what I know so far.

So, for now, have you known how to swap PURE coins?

The Dev just recently released an updated wallet that will let you run your coins/MN on a different chain to support the incoming swap. He said that it is needed to be done so that there will be enough supply of coins that will be used in the swap. He also said that the swap will push through after everyone updates their wallets.

Why do we need to swap?
Pure Swap gets us better code quicker, and allow for payouts from Puredex (click to see short video demo) which will be released by the end of Q2.

When will swap happen?
It will be announced in the #announcements channel of discord. Swap ratio will be 2:1 meaning that you send 2 pure in return you get 1 pure. Masternode collateral will stay at 5k but due to 2:1 swap you need 10k or 2 masternodes to have 1 masternode after the swap. Once the swap starts you will have 30 days to complete the swap; if you don't swap within this 30 day window all your coins on the old chain will be useless.

Don't trust them. Report to a mod on the sidebar even it the usernames look the same they can be different people; this is why mods have a different color.

Why was 13m premined, and what will happen with it?
The premine is so each swap bot can handle most of the swap if needed. The extra coins after the swap will be burned. crypto-bridge was going to be the other swap bot, but at this time it looks like that will not be the case.

Manual swap will start at 5:30 PM UTC; this is 1528479000 in unix time; Countdown timer here. You will need to be prepared and ready to do the manual swap.

1.Make sure you have enough coins and you need to send an even amount. So you can send 10k + 2, 12k, 16k, 20k + 2, 32k, etc... Do not send 11983 as an example; send 10002 or 12000. The plus 2 is so you'll have 1 coin for transaction fees in order to start your masternode.

Restart the wallet by Going to File -> Exit, and then starting up the wallet again.

4.In the desktop wallet go to File -> Receiving addresses; select the first address given and press the copy button. It will look like this p000000000000000000000000000000000.

5.PM @puredev#3675 on Discord after 5:30 PM UTC. Go to the #announcements channel and click on the green puredev username and send him a message (can also right click and select Message). In the message Follow this template

He will then send you the v1 address to send your coins to.

6.Send coins to the address puredev gave you.

7.Go to Transactions on the left, right click your transaction to puredev, Select Copy transaction ID.

I am wondering the same thing the manual swap seems like it is just geared for master node holders. Most people have far less then 10k + 2 in there wallets. Pretty confused at what I am supposed to be doing here.

Apparently smaller than 10k has to wait for full swap. This swap is because a lot of people complained about delay which sounds like because of the coinexchange
