Hi, I like cryptonight coins and this project is very like to me. But talks about coinmarketcap or price 2-3 dollars its only a dream for now.
If you want this project will be succesfull the first thing what you need its interest more miners and grow your network hashrate.
After 3 months is 25 miners and hashrate around 100 Kh/s very low nad very long away from success.
I know about other cryptonight project which start 1 and half month ago and now they have more than 2K miners and their network hashrate is 6-10 Mh/s. This is succesfull, growing project.

Let´s dev develop the coin and make features, but community must make a marketing interest more people about this coin.

For now has this [Suspicious link removed]d ratio of the prize vs. mineability, but uf no more people be interest by this project that price go down and project will be dead.

Can  we talk a bit of facts right now, guy,because  there are a lot of new cryptoknigtht coints like , electroneum, intese, b2b, or etc. We can also talk about new new coins , like pikstar, stellite, brazuk,or that ever , they have not reach  any exchanges yet.
If you are following anyting in crypo world, you shoud have notice, that most  of  the cryptoknight coins above have droped 3 times in the value, in the last 10 days, but not KMC.This is comunity driven coin. I have been heavilly minig deeponion myseelf, a year ago, then folk like you was saying something , but at the end , i sold most of it at 7 usd per coin. This project, is simmilar too. |You really narrow minded, if you think, that 2-3 usd per coin is a drem.I can text you an update in a year, if you have a desire

I agree with you. Only one thing. There is no drop of price, because there is no trading volume, because traders have no interest in this coin, because small community and low hashrate.

On exchange you need spread coin to as many hands as is possible and raise and drops is good instrument for that. NO volume, no volatility, no interest.

KMC peaked 100 mil diff when they announce masternodes (first cryptonight coin with MN).
Then the fall came after announcing MN in Q3 2018.

So if it is possible to make MN on KMC and when dev will show us some proof (a beta MN) KMC will explode.

As I said in other posts, if you want to help, just trade KMC on stocks.exchange and maybe one day we can reach the 10.000$/day trade volume and get listed on CMC.

No problem i can trade it, but now the price is still going down, so for now i can time by time buy few hundreds coins for hold as long term invesment, but now isnt KMC a good coin for daily trading.

For start is enough, that community members will go to other threads here in bitcointalk, perhaps reddit, about cpu mining, new coins  etc. and tell there. "Hey guys here is new cryptonight [Suspicious link removed]d community, good devs, still low harhrate, easy to mine good ROI."

For this you dont need no funds.

I wish it were that easy but there are hundreds of coins popping up every week so not sure how effective your strategy would be.

Just let the project sleep until MN are implemented. Use the low diff now. When MN is implemented we should try to donate enough money to get listed on one of those MN-Ranking sites. That sould do it. After that the coin will be popular and high valued within a week I think ..

i think if this coin is for eastern europe region the best strategy is interest people from that region and traslate information about coin to their languages. Easy use the national pride for interest new people.

China banned crypto on monday, so  translation to chinese is not good at the moment. i will think about other language

Ok but then it would still make more sense to get listed on one of these mining profitability websites, because if it was evidently profitable to mine KMC then people would see it there and switch their miners over.

2 problems

1. windows wallet synchronization stuck at block 60001

2. i mined at http://pool.kmcoin.info/ for more than 12 hours. I had more than 10 coins in pending balance. Now i look, that i have 1.2 KMC in pending balance but no payment

1) delete all content from C:\Users\yourname\AppData\Roaming\kmcoin
2) install update. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1HzWmW8xGPO06ZqYwRkZ8xewwhRoKHoD0/view
2) Start in CMD c:\KMC\kmcoind
3) Keep runing until 100% synced. If stucked, run again
4) After 100%, Start GUI wallet, with kmcoind in cmd running in background

What's your KMC address?  Also, try mining at http://kmcoin.hashpool.eu/

Coin is not really worth mining and supporting anymore in my eyes. Dev should push update on blockchain asap and start to program a little bit more!

Was there an issue with pool.kmcoin.info on feb 8 to feb 9? The pool seemed stuck for a while but my rig stats said still mining/good shares. I woke up this morning and no payout for 10hrs @ 25k.  Please advise as to how payments during that time will be processed.

There have been no payments because no blocks where found. This is nothing new for this coin. Dev doesn't seem to be able to fix this permanently. He always has to restard the pool manually and sometimes he doesn't notice for days. Mining continues in this time but the hashpower is beeing wasted (as well as the electricity).
You wont get any coins for the time the network is stuck .. and this continues to happen.
I would advice to stop mining and supporting this coin until DEV has proven that he can at least fix this shit. If he is not able to (and it really looks like) I highly doubt that he will be capable of implementing Masternodes to the network ..
Sad but true. I've been mining this coin since the beginning and always tried to support the project but with the time I kind of lost my hope in this coin and in the dev ..
