I'm part of the KMC dev team, I'll be focused on social networks and digital marketing. I'll try to stay active on this forum as much as I can, and reply to your questions. (when I know the answer )

I  have a couple of years of experience in digital marketing, working for major global spirits brands. (whiskeys and liquors mostly)
We have developed a marketing strategy for our coin, and we intend to invest a decent ammount in promotions.

I'd like you all to know that our whole team spends a lot of time and resources in this coin, our goal is not to make some fast cash, we want to make a stable and healthy coin/network.
Please be reasonable and patient, we're currently testing the coin on our first exchange, and the coin is only 27 days old.

You can't imagine how excited we are!
But well, we have a small team, and that small team is making everything happen.
If you ask me- getting listed on any exchange for a coin that's not even a month old will be quite an achievement.

What's the reason to use KMC rather than BTC which has a lot of infrastructure around the globe?

As far as I know the cryptonight algo provides anonymous transactions. Transactions are faster than in BTC blockchain and there are less fees.
Also when this currency will be established it should be more decentralized than bitcoin because there are no asics and more single users mining with gpu's. At the moment it's not really decentralized because there is ony one pool but I think this will definitly change in the future ..

All arguments you brought up don't make sense because if people want to use a currency with anonymous transactions why don't they use Monero? There are also other coins that are ASIC resistant and have cheap transaction costs. Problem is that this coin does not seem to fill an existing market gap. Any thoughts?
