now there are many ethereum wallets that can be made for us, on PC or on Android, similar to imToken, but many are asking to create eth wallets at https://www.myetherwallet.com in addition to easy to use security guarantees

I have recently started participating in Airdrops and was wondering which is the best Ethereum wallet to use as some airdrops asking for certain wallets that collect tokens
AS being bounty hunters and crypto supporter, based on my experience Myetherwallet is one of the best wallet if someone want to stored ERC20 token and sell it in the right time.

I think MEW (MyEtherWallet) and Imtoken. because it's very easy to use both of these wallets. I have used MEW for 1 year and I think it is very safe, for Imtoken my friend has been using it for more than 1 year and his assets are still safe.

There are a lot of hardware-based wallet, prices I think very affordable. Why do people take risks and use Mew?

It's free and easy to use, I've been using MEW and there's problem with my usage. Being not so careful turns someone to have bad experience with MEW by logging in their priv keys to a phishing link. Yes, hardware wallets are now are kinda cheap they are now on 50% black friday sale. https://www.ledger.com/products/ledger-nano-s

I always use myetherwallet from the start. and until now it is still very safe and comfortable. although there are so many phishing links that try to trick me into stealing my wallet. the thing I usually do is bookmark the website https://www.myetherwallet.com/ and never click on any link and enter my secret key.

For me, the best Ethereum wallet is MEW because as long as if you don't share your private key with others your coins will be in a safe zone. Now they have very food security measures to hold the coins in the long term too.

Nothing is completely safe, even if you didn;t share your private keys with someone purposely still it may get taken by the people who we call them as hackers by many methods like phishing links so we also need to be aware while entering into MEW site for phishing links and close website.

all ethereum users use their wallets at https://myetherwallet.comYou only save the Keystore / JSON File to access the wallet There is no key to recovering an account if your account has a problem

We can recover by using JSON file or Private keys which one we have, but problem means what? If you lost your access to the system where you saved the details of MEW so you can import or access the same wallet by using the keys but for that you need to save those data in a different offline device.

I think the best of them are Blue wallet and Metamask , to avoid phishing , Myetherwallet is not the best because of risk of getting phished by hackers , I also suggest Eidoo wallet too , it is a wallet for smartphones that you can participate in some ICOs too with it .

Guarda, Mist These two seems new to me and I haven't checked them out. The other wallets that you have suggested were all good. I'm fond of using ledger nano s and myetherwallet because they are very convenient and has a user friendly theme. You haven't added some other mobile wallets like coinomi, it's also a good wallet that has been on the market though it has experienced some glitch that made 1 user to lose fund for the desktop app, I'm using their mobile app and has no problem with it.

I made a big shift to https://mycrypto.com/ and I'm using the desktop version, it's much safe and secure after the so many hacking news about online web wallet, I stopped trusting my private keys to these online based wallets, check it out and compare the difference.

What the differentiates of MEW wallet and myetherwallet? About security it depends on the user itself, if you have a worried about your wallet/asset then you will safe well about your private key and all about security system. But if you don't, don't expect much your asset will be safe, hackers will find out many gap carried out by wallet owners.
