I have recently started participating in Airdrops and was wondering which is the best Ethereum wallet to use as some airdrops asking for certain wallets that collect tokens

For me the best wallet is the official wallet of altc itself. I think you should use myetherwallet, if you use exchange wallet I am sure you will lose your alt.

MyEtherWallet is the best because it also can receive Erc20 tokens that I get from airdrops. If you only need a wallet that is exactly for ethereum then use ethereum online wallet on coinbase or metamask.

Sure myetherwallet must be the best one but we need to be so careful because there are many phishing attempts of myetherwallet. Metamask should be the best alternative wallet as it is also able to receive erc20 token and it is safer than myetherwallet imo. Good thing for metamask is that now it is available on chrome and firefox. I'm hoping metamask will increase its feature in the future.

No, My etherwallet is an online wallet which is used through its website. If you want to use a desktop wallet, I think there are other options.

you never use dekstop wallet or download dekstop wallet in myetherwallet, because myetherwallet only online wallet
if you want use dektop wallet you can use ethereum official wallet, https://ethereum.org

In my opinion https://www.myetherwallet.com/ is best wallet for ether and erc20 tokens.
For airdrops you need erc20 compliant wallet and that is MEW, don't use address from exchanges because you won't receive erc20 tokens there.

myetherwallet is the best wallet it supports for many types of coin using erc20 cards. It's easy to use and secure for the Airdrops, but you have to keep your private key safe if you do not want your money lost.

What's the connection bitcointalk accounts hacking to ETH wallet? First, if you are connecting these two most of the people that are hacked are clicking something like of a phishing link and inputting their accounts detail unaware.

Airdrops aren't safe in a way of what? You are getting it for free but if you mean that your information aren't safe there, yes they aren't safe as it can be used against you/your account.

The same answers again and again, most of the airdrops are held with ERC 20 tokens so MEW is the best choice.

You can use the most popular eth wallet which is MYETHEREUMWALLET. It works perfectly fine when I participate in airdrops and I've never experienced any issues.

This thing that I will mention is the thing for sure where everybody knows that it is very safe and secured to use anyway, which is myetherwallet.com it has a private key and password where we can protect our coin if we put it there in our MEW.

I think myetherwallet is a good wallet to use. It is stable and used by a large number of participants because of it's safety. Be careful not to share your private key with a third party and try not to misplace or forget the key. You can also check out the announcement section in the forum for some other wallet which are safe for this purpose.

Normally I use MEW as my main wallet but now I use nano ledger because it's safer because all the controls are in our hands.

i am using a hardware wallet and i'm very confident using it because its more secure and less risk for hack than using an online ETH wallet.

Using hardware wallets for storing the ethereum long term is best choice but exposing your hardware wallet for cheap tokens you can make from airdrops is not suggestable,and it is better to use MEW for airdrop tokens and once you received the tokens then you can transfer it to the primary wallet if it supports that token.
