In the traditional investment systems  there are areas like stock exchange, real estates, commodity market, forex market. Then there are hedge funds, mutual funds, equity, debentures. Next in line are precious metals like Gold, silver, diamond. Years after year and decades after decades when mainstream economics was convincing people that how one of above is better than other as it is giving returns in the range of 8% to 9% at max 10-13% a new revolution named bitcoin is rising and spreading across the world. Bitcoin has defied all conventional knowledge about return on interest. Surviving each negative publicity and doubts, incidents like mt. gox and still growing better than ever.

Bitcoin is not better. Bitcoin now used for the same purpose. But the return on investment in bitcoin is far higher. I think that it will not always. Perhaps in the future these assets will be equal in yield and then will be quite another matter. Now is the primitive accumulation of capital and it can take yield is not subject to any logic.

Sooner or later the tremendous btc growth will slow down or even stop and we have to be ready.

In its purest form bitcoin is a currency. However in todays world bitcoin is developed into the commodity or investment tool. So When it comes to investment in best asset for best results we could compare the bitcoin with other assets like real-estate, stock market, metals. As far as growth rate is considered we don't know how it move, neither at what rate it will move. Bitcoin and overall cryptocurrencies are unpredictable. Though we need to understand that everything listed on https://coinmarketcap.com is not currency. There are some tokens as well.
There will be slowndown in growth and acceptance of bitcoin as well. However we do not know when. Till then get rich till you can.

It has positives and negatives just like everything else.

Can you live on a bitcoin? Nope, but you can live on your real estate. Does bitcoin deliver dividends like a stock from a company? nope, bitcoin will not give you any dividends.

But if you consider the negatives of real estate and stocks and consider the positives of bitcoin:

-You can't pick your real estate and flee to any country you want with it. It is always tied to a particular spot. It could be vandalized, subjected to stupid laws etc.  You can pick your bitcoin and go to any country you like with them and nobody can even know.
-You can't trade your stocks 24/7 in a global market and you will not receive a split automatically in case of a company splitting (in bitcoin you get coins on both chains automatically if there is a hardfork).

Frankly speaking i cant really see bitcoin would able to replace or would be better stocks,real-estate,gold,forex and other investment. It would really have the advantage speaking on profit making but when it terms of stability and for long term and have a strong back up then i cant see bitcoin would able to surpass those things being mentioned above.

I wouldn't say that Bitcoin is better than the old system investment even though so far it has made me a lot of money. Bitcoin is still in an early stage and all the crazy rise are because public starting to adopt Bitcoin. The positive development of Bitcoin, technically and in terms of adoption are the main driving force of the positive price movement. Until Bitcoin reach a stable condition and prove itself against time we can't call it a better investment than conventional investment.

It is wiser to diversify your wealth to conventional investment than going all-in in Bitcoin. Bitcoin is still in experimental phase, no one  can predict what will happen in say 5-10 years. The future of Bitcoin may look bright right now, I agree, but it could easily turn backward. Stocks and real estate is safer and more sustainable.

If you're in the market to make money and you can stomach losing it, Bitcoin is better because at this moment in time the vast majority of the world still doesn't understand it and even fewer actually own any.

As education and adoption grows the price will only go one way. Even if 90% of the world decides it's a piece of shit, that 10% is still many, many, many more times the number of people who are currently involved.

No one bothers with forex, gold or stocks for fun. They're looking to grow money. Bitcoin has far more potential to do that simply because of the position it's currently in. Because of the same position it can of course set all your money on fire too.

          Yes i certainly believe it does. For some popular business personalities, they suggested to put some amounts over real estate investments which is also good for long term purposes. It doesn't mean you have to quit already in bitcoin, but as the saying goes, don't settle for single source of income, and i guess it seems to be true.

It is due to the bad news like China ban on bitcoin. Bitcoin is directly affected by the mood of the investors  therefore if there are bad news like I mentioned it goes down rapidly but normally it goes high due to demand over time as bitcoin enters public internet.

Bitcoin is far more better than real estate Investments. When you invest in Bitcoin, you get a very high return because Bitcoin growth is very rapid. Because bitcoin is having more popularity in very short period of time and plus the market is very easy to manipulate. This fact of manipulating the market drives the bigger investors into crypto world and they invest in tons to increase the market cap to higher ranks in very short period of time.

Bitcoin is better than stock because it is still under development. Any project which only began to develop has more profitability. Over time, growth rates may decrease. We were lucky that we managed to become a part of this process. I believe in the great future of bitcoin and any news that bitcoins had new supporters for me as a balm.

There are many threads covering comparisons between bitcoin and gold, btc and stock markets, etc. Real estate is a new angle not covered much, I'll try to focus on that.

The primary issue with real estate is declining demand. Due to middle class to poor earners not receiving the wage hikes they would normally have, demand in real estate and housing markets is decreasing. Banks have tried to keep demand constant by lowering the standards a person must met to qualify for a home loan. Governments have tried to subsidize real estate markets to increase demand. Measures are in place to prevent demand from lowering the value of real estate in the USA. But it may be likely that demand will inevitably decrease and the prices of real estate will fall with it.

On the flipside, btc is a growing and expanding market. Demand for btc and crypto are increasing. This means that it could be possible for bitcoin being worth more tomorrow than whatever its worth today. That may be one of the most glaring comparisons a person could draw between btc and real estate.
