What will happen if people just stop buying bitcoin? Will bitcoin be as usable as now Or will it be a step towards the end?
How will the market value react to it, people wanting to sell bitcoin but there is no one to buy.

If people stop buying bitcoin, bitcoins price will go down to 0 and if it continues bitcoin will be gone for sure. So i hope that will never happen.

If ever people will stop buying bitcoin and those who hold bitcoin will not sell their bitcoin then the price of bitcoin will steady but I don't think it will happen this way. People will buy and sell bitcoin just like what they are doing with alternative coins.

you can't just ask these "what if" questions without putting a little thought into it!
for example why would every single person involved with bitcoin decide "at the same time" to not buy bitcoin anymore at any price?
I could not find any reasonable thing mention here why they will stop buying bitcoin. I think people will never stop buying bitcoin because no reason. Otherwise if this happen, the price of bitcoin will stuck in some point and will be zero value. |

People are buying bitcoin today because of high demand by the time the demand is low that will be good for the market if people stop buying bitcoin, attention will ve diverted to other alternative coins, some coins will also have opportunity spring up into the market and people will go for the little coins that have tendency of rising up.

if a market is closed and no one is buying and selling definitely that business is not usefully same thing applied to bitcoin if no one buy and sell bitcoin than the investment with bitcoin is over.

First of all , people would never stop buying btc as it has become main income for some people and its helps trading too.. If by any chance people stop buying btc , it will crash. but for that , people should stop buying alt coins as well as icos too.. Its never gonna happen in this era.. :p

Hi there shamzblueworld! I think that would not happen unless there are bitcoin were wiped out in the whole blockchain system. As I see people, even not in the cryptocurrency scenario, people tend to buy and sell things that make sense. However, let say the scenario you state comes true. The first thing that will happen is that price will drastically fall from the ground which make bitcoin value so small that people will not even bother to use them anymore. But I hope that scenario wont come true.  |

Reality wise, when value fell surely new investors will come forward and invest making the value jumped high again, we can't see any related issue that will make investors to stop buying this crypto, as we witnessing certain fluctutions and for sure traders and investors loves playing with it. |

For people to want to stop buying bitcoin, there must be some reasons or the other. But if this eventually happens, it does mean that the value of bitcoin would depreciate drastically, which might gradually bring about an end to the currency. |

For people to want to stop buying bitcoin, there must be some reasons or the other. But if this eventually happens, it does mean that the value of bitcoin would depreciate drastically, which might gradually bring about an end to the currency. If no one wants to buy bitcoin then the price will stop moving because it will not change until someone trade with it. A lot of people are still believe in the power of bitcoin and I know this thing will not happen. The future of bitcoin really depend on us so better to support instead of thinking negative things. |

i think that if there are no people that are buying Bitcoins then the price of Bitcoin will probably decrease because it depends on the supply and the demand. if the demand is higher than the supply then the price increases qnd vice versa.

The market's free hand will eventually figure out a price in which buyers will be in an equilibrium with sellers, settling on a new price. There's no scenario where no one wants to buy bitcoin for any price.

If there is no more buyer and there is no seller either, the price will not go down. It will remain stagnant and no change will ever happen. All these are hypothetical, giving a certain scenario and predicting what will happen if it occurs. Of course, these are not actual things that will happen today nor in the future. |
