There are a lot of people saying that ICO's are scams. Well, I believe that if you do your research you can get a good profit from an ICO. Do you think it is the right time to invest now? Especially in November when there are many ICO launches.
In your opinion, what is the best ICO to invest in? Please justify why.
Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

The optimal time would be the very start as they begin normally or just before the initial hype starts. You can normally tell this by looking at their project and whether it's copy and paste code or it's a unique project with worth.

Not always. Your strategy works only if the project work. If the project was originally conceived as a Scam then you have no chance to recover their investments initially. To distinguish the scams from promising projects very difficult. May be for this reason that many governments want to ban ICO.

A lot of people are saying about icos are scam but another people said that icos were really profitable. But that depends on the personal opinion regarding the ico itself. You must see some coin just like maidsafe or even ethereum. It makes sense to see about those are investing dozen money in the ethereum already taken a very huge profit from there.
The best ico is the project that already released the product. at least alpha to the public.

Thank you. I also believe that the project is crucial when it comes to ICOs

You are right, it depends on the personal opinion of course. I was thinking about ethereum too. I will search more on maidsafe

I don't know about the best one, but with the profit from BitConnect and Regal, I think BitSerial has a high chance to yield some profits. You can use my username as a referral if you invest. I am not saying it's a good project, I am not saying it's not a ponzi, maybe it is. I, myself, am not going to invest in the lending, just the token/ICO.

I find really interesting read about November's ICOs - http://bitguru.co.uk/november-top-icos/
I do not really understand what  Gladius is about
But confideal and dmarket looks good. Gaming industry is hyped now, and i think it's the best time to invest in
And smart contracts could move blockchain technology to the new level

I think xauram gamma and xenio are two ICOs i would really recommend you to invest in. XAURAM is a very unique project and has a very very strong team which makes it a promising ICO to invest in. XENIO, on the other hand is one the most popular project available in the market right now. The project raised more than a million in first hour of pre sale and is still performing pretty well. The project can really grow in the future.
INDAHASH is another project you should surely have a look at. The project is based upon the idea of marketting and advertising and has some really big clients like coca cola. It's a project which can surely show growth in the future.

You can invest anytime when you find a legitimate ICO. It ensures a great profit if the project is legitimate and the team manages the project right. I am now in a campaign of a project which is legitimate. There are few other ICOs out there where you can make an investment and earn a great profit. Just pick the right one.

really what you say, that seeing the truth about a scam or not an ico project is very difficult, then from we just look at the contents of the project and see when pre-ico is going on a lot of investing or not. and responses to how people see the project

It is true that there are a lot of ICO's appearing and because of this there are more bad / scam ICO's out there, but doing your research is the vital part. Spend time looking into a project, join their bounty campaign and ask questions on their thread. To me transparency is very important.

Here are a few signs to look for in a ICO

- Strong team - Both in development team and also the CEO's / marketing (no point having a great team to create something, if nobody can advertsie it and push the startup in the right direction.
- Realistic vision - not aiming too high or if they do not reach their target everyone who invested will be disappointed
- Solid whitepaper - Well thought out, shows realistic goals, a strong good vision and a plan of action
- Strong social media presence - A social media that shows they are connected with everyone
- Good customer support - Shows they care, and they have invested time and money into making sure the average investor can ask questions
- Good website - A business who is willing to throw time and effort into a good website are less likely to be a scam
- finite supply - ICO's with no cap can be dangerous and can simply just damage their own coin by releasing more for more investment.
-Market they are getting involved with - Is this a new market? or a dying one? who controls the market?

Finally
- Good concept and catchy name - A good ethos and a name that makes them stand out. Personally i would avoid anything that is something "coin".

If these are in place, then it's a good sign. I am looking at Crowdholding at the minute, Their ICO started today.

Not every ico is scam! But majority of thm are scam, we need to research well before the investment.
And obviously play with the safe money.

Wow. You couldn't have put it in better way. I am saving your list for every time I am looking at an ICO. I would also add ICO use: is the token really useful? I will have a look at Crowdholding. Seems a very interesting project and their token IS useful

I feel that bitcoin and alt coin is still at the beginning stage where only a small percentage of people are using it. So there is still a lot of room for growth. So the right time to invest is always now. I would suggest to have a balance profile instead of aiming for the most risky.

There is more room for sure. For example in my country they don't use bitcoin so much but we are trying to educate people. You are right, big risks give the biggest earnings but also the biggest losses. Always a balance profile is the best solution

The best time to invest would be right now. Buy some biicoin and put that money in alternate currencies that you think have solid fundamentals. Once the bitcoin run stops, alts will rise and so will your bitcoin in value.
