i usually dont like to participate in the forks, so i am accumulating some alts instead

You are quite right that Bitcoin is dominating right now. I don't know if the worst for altcoins is over yet. The announcement of NovaExchange, home to many smallcap coins, could be a buying opportunity as many are selling off in panic, at least if the coin you buy finds a new home.

Yes, I have some in bitcoin that is staying there, but I've also been selling alts and re-buying more for the same price as they drop... so a bit of both really.

I bought some last week and it was a big mistake for me. I bought some more today, so far I made another loss for my portfolio. Maybe it's the best to get bitcoin only.

I feel like despite that bitcoin bull run, altcoins are going to have a great year after the bitcoin bull calms down. So to be fairly honest I'm stocking up quite a bit to not feel left out when they start to moon again. Altcoins are testing new lows but that only means more highs in the future.

They are cheap and I wouldnt be surprised if they got even more discounted in this next week to 10 days here. That being said though I am not buying a single coin because I am already hurting too hard from these forks. I

cant say it is the correct decision (it clearly isnt) but I think trying to stay relevant in this game is more important than taking a risk that could be your last.

Its a good time to buy altcoins i think, the prices are VERY cheap. I will buy a litlte bit every couple days of the ones i already hold and try to buy a bunch right before the fork (i think the bottom will be 2-3 days before the hard fork, so november 11th or something)

There is a lot of opportunities of money making through altcoins if there is enough people that support the price of their coin. It's really easy to make money based on that.

It’s better to buy alts now because bitcoin is mooning alts coins are going down and down these days. You can buy now alts at a cheap price and sell them for a good price later. But you have to be very patience

No, of course not. Who would buy altcoin while Bitcoin makes new ATH literally every hour? I'm trying to sell my altcoins in fact, but prices are so low I couldn't sell. I don't want to sell at loss so I'm stuck in some altcoins. That's very frustrating since I'm a Bitcoin believer. I use altcoins just to get more Bitcoin.
