Altcoin purchase is always on going for me personally. Overtime I have realize that profit in altcoin is always better than bitcoin. Everyone is talking about bitcoin but many altcoin are doing 50x appreciation in value silently!

Bitcoins have proven over period to be a stable currency, but why do some still worry themselves and invest in altcoins that has been downward trend for so many days.

Where there is a chance to make nice profit from the downward trend of altcoins, why we dont take the chance? Agreed that bitcoin is still the best coin but we should not underestimate altcoins. Look at the fact of some great altcoins such as Litecoin adn ETH, their price are increasing nice recently. Smart people will take the chance to get profit from it instead of focusing on bitcoin only. Chance does not come anytime, so we should not waste the time where there is a great chance to make money.

I have a very simple strategy. I invest in ICOs I like and then try to hold long term, min 3-4 months. This was my hair is not turning gray and I have the potential to make decent profit. For major coins like btc or ltc, I'm keeping certain budget unless some other coin shows up where I see enough potential.

Yes im buying altcoins, because these coins are vert useful and great, altcoins has many kinds and more and more are existing today, Altcoins ethereum, ripple litecoins and more are very useful and can be alternative to btc, when btc is not in good place we can use altcoins or the invested altcoins. All of those coins are pumping right now, I think supporting this project will give you decent earnings if you will buy and hold, alts are giving
good earnings to those who understand the system, the more you hold the more chances that the value will grow.

There's a chance for alts to grow in price significantly. That is why some people wants to catch it. Unfortunately, not every alts will grow even though after a long period of time. Picking the promising alts becomes harder from time to time especially nowadays when new alts come in daily basis. And it does not dampen people's interest to hunt alts.

Investing on alt coins that you think will rise is one of the best ways for you to earn in the future. Yes bitcoin is the best coin and give you stable income right now because of its pump and trend but exploring other coins will give you more knowledge and strategy on how to deal with real income. I know it's risky but you have to do it if you want to succeed in cryptocurrency because bitcoin also started on the bottom too and nobody knew that it would be a successful someday coins so those who invested and hold it are definitely millionaires now.

Thinking about long term is much better, as we see how the value fluctuate so the longer we hold the coin the more chances that we can gain more,
its been a cycle especially those coin that have a good target venue, if they achieved their target then the value will rise up and it can give a lots
of profits from our investment.

I agree that buying bitcoin now looks meaningless. Now  it is a good time to buy such an ethereum. It should grow significantly in price.

A friend of mine been buying only altcoins and lost lot of money. But it's incorrect if you are going to buy bitcoin only: some little number of trusted altcoins are a pretty nice for investment. Just read about them, about the others' experience and about the team. Also never "put all the eggs in one basket" -- never invest all of your funds into little number of altcoins: spread them between 5-6 or even above.

Altcoins are really the only way to increase your bitcoin/ethereum reserves if that is a person's goal.

So for most people, buying altcoins is the only way to go.

And besides, if you can get past the tremendous amount of shitcoins out there, there are actually some really great altcoin projects around.
