Buying some ethereum, monero or waves can be really good to get good holding profits. Also litecoin and IOTA may be logic desicions for short or long term investments.

Yes, I buy altcoins since my strategy is to diversify my portfolio of coins. I always keep around 30 to 40% altcoin to reduce investment risk.
And I agree that it is a good time to buy altcoin when BTC is high and altcoin in red.

I still buy some altcoin because it is good for trading even it is so too risky when you buy an accidentally a shitcoin. Some coin not totally dropping because some of this, when it is start on market and a good project if coin, in just a single time of month, it can pump as a market value, so you can buy a low then sell it on high.

When btc is increasing or decreasing fastly it's very big opportunity to buy bitcoins in low price, but of course i mean for the good altcoins that have future. This time is very big oppurtunity to make profit for long term and shor term.

When I was much "younger" and inexperienced, I'd have knocked you for saying that you could actually buy a shitcoin by accident. But yes, even with all the research available to us newbies, and with all the care we take, we can still make mistakes. Accidents, we could call them. I have had a couple of accidents, not exactly with buying shitcoins but by investing in ICOs that turn out to be poorly executed projects. I got dumped on, was upset at first and disappointed for a long time. But I now take this all as learning. Doesn't stop me from buying altcoins. |

Often i buy altcoins, i am trading with altcoins to earn more bitcoin. Altcoins can give u more profit than bitcoin, we have a lot of altcoins with low price that will have very bright future.

I bought the ethereum when it cost $300. Now it costs $1100 already and continues to grow. Now I'm afraid to buy it, so I bought a little ripple. I hope that this will bring me a profit.  |

i may not reccomend buying altcoins this time, i woul rather keep my bitcoin to my wallet and wait for the forks to be finish all, bitcoin will continue rise and up in the market as long as bitcoin fork is not finish, people will buy more day by day as they want to have more free coins from hard fork !

yah you right. many digital currency have been falling but bitcoin not falling. many people buying bitcoin while price is low and trade while price up. so many people get extra money for that. and if i buying altcoins, i don't buy altcoin but i trust altcoin more then another cheap.

It's really hard to recognize a good altcoin and on that new coins are being created everyday. I don't wanna get struck with a non existing pump dump coin so I don't buy any altcoin usually.

Altcoin are good to buy in the present time like the price are relatively cheap and the future is good those who have a good reserve of the altcoins they are traders now and they are very successful in the world. Best time to buy any coin is when it's cheap. I would like to share my experience with you. Just at the start of 2018, I sold some of my altcoins and just 2 days after selling, they were trading at almost double price. What I observed is that this price rising trend maybe continue till first 3 months of 2018, after that it will be calm down so according to this prediction I think right now is the time to buy altcoins instead of buying at higher price after few months because the trend is going to be upward in every coming year. Better stay in Altcoins like Ethereum, Monero, Cardano, Litecoin, IOTA, DASH and ZCASH.

Yeah find a altcoin that has a low value then hold it first and check it in market if the value increase then sell it. Be wise here it's a matter of buying and selling only.

yes i always buy altcoin as long as i have cash in my pocket but i dont like to buy these days based on altcoins value because right now most of them are still pumping and seems they are now on their peak. yet im still hoping that one day some of them can fall or decrease a little bit in order for me to have an oppurtunity to purchase them as apart of my trading portfolio, not only trading but i do also hodl altcoins as an investment aside from bitcoins because i see that altcoins were pretty much stable and they had potential to grow substantially.
