some of altcoins is great in the future. but I choosing old coin like eth and litecoin

With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.

There are no reason why i can't buy an altcoin. Bitcoin is so expensive so if i buy it i don't think it can be worth it. I
Unlike altcoins it is safe for investment. And better than bitcoin, the altcoin have an lowet investment only compare to the bitcoin. Beside that, it is more stable than the bitcoin so we need altcoin to invest.

I'm holding onto the alt-coins I have already because I believe in them and even if I did want to sell them it would be for a loss.  I'm not buying new alt coins right now, but I am mining them.

Ethereum
Ethereum is the third largest coin in the world after Bitcoin and Ripple. Initially Ethereum is able to sit in second position until the end of December yesterday. Unfortunately Ripple managed to head the position Ethereum.

Litecoin
Simply put, this Litecoin is a light version of Bitcoin. Litecoin also has a faster transaction time than Bitcoin of course because it is lighter.
Interestingly from Litecoin, in 2017 then the currency made by Charlie Lee (CEO Litecoin) was successfully skyrocketed up to 7.000%. Wow! Now 1 Piece of Litecoin (LTC) is at $ 250

Ripple
Unlike Bitcoin (BTC) or Ethereum (ETH). Ripple slightly different. It can not be mined, it can not be used as a digital shopping payment tool. And Ripple specifically operate for private company, aka can not be arbitrarily used.

for now, I am very hesitant to buy altcoin because many say Bitcoin will rise even higher. therefore I would rather hold Bitcoinku than buy altcoin.

According to my observations Bitcoin and altcoins develop in parallel and depend on each other.
if you take a calculated risk and invest in several, it's gonna turn out successful...

likely all coins are get in low prices.Good chance to grab some major coins for cheap for long term hodl. also if get eye on market closely can see short term trading opportunities but with high risks

I think altcoins had a great year after the bitcoin fortress. Because the other altcoins lost so much appeal from last year because lately, they are coming back, so we can buy them

for now Altcoins are in downtrend comparing last years trend!
so it will be the best time to buy altcoins. well it is not assurance that we can get profit in the future to the altcoins that we buy now cause markets value is so volatile, we cant predict its trend, but we can hope that it will be a uptrend soon for all altcoins!

I personally believe that,if I better stick with BTC. for now more BTC buy than to buy altcoin. because of its high price and its fast marketing. although altcoin is cheaper I prefer BTC.

the market has recovered itself but this fluctuation process will continue as it is difficult to invest in btc but I think it is the right time to trade in subcontract like the most guarantee to do is panic sales are continuing ı need to evaluate them

Yes I buy more altcoin as their prices are getting too low, I believe very soon some will pump and from there i will get a short term profit. Bitcoin is so expensive for anyone to just buy now, altcoin is still the best option for some investors like me for now.

i think that its the moment for u to buy into some potential altcoin, because he is being diminished by excessive bitcoin as the funding from altcoin is being withdrawn. its an opportunity for u to buy altcoin at low prices.

YES, if it does have the potential to have a high price, I will buy it. so many coins that have the potential to have a high price. i guess all altcoins will gain profit by early 2018 i suggest to buy now and  see next year.

Btc and alts are of absolutely different use,  this is why people buy alts. They are easy to speculate,  because they don't have such stable rate as btc does.

I don't buy it now. But I think you you should do it when price is low. Someone tell that it is time to buy only bitcoin not altcoin. Because it is made some losses.

Im buying my long term alts with new fiat, and holding 60-70% bitcoin in your portfolio is also good during bitcoin bull run because it is general knowledge that when bitcoin goes parabolic in either direction altcoins bleed. That's why sometimes it good to take profits or to wait for the next dip so you can buy more and accumulate. Just be sure that you are buying good altcoins to make sure profits.

I always follow the latest news from cryptocurrency through coinmarketcap, and of course this makes me interested to buy coins that have good prospects in the future, after I buy and store in a safe wallet then I will be patient to wait.

Yeah now that bitcoin  at its high and alternative  coins is at its low then its a smart for those buyer waiting for the perfect opportunity  for the alt coins to get low. Its definitely investing time for alt coins while butcoin is the dominating at the market.
