With BTC in such a strong uptrend atm, are you buying altcoins right now? A lot of them are kind of 'cheap' and have been falling while BTC have been increasing.

for the time being I just buy altcoin that has the potential to earn profits, because in the months now altcoin prices are down so it is very vulnerable to losses if all my capital is used to buy altcoin ...
better to find safety for my capital security ..

Right now, I am waiting for good alts to invest with. I am holding some alts right now and doing some trades here and there. I think finding those good alts is easy and short trades are way more flexible than going to invest in bitcoin. But if you really want to long investment, bitcoin or eth is a go to choice.

Of cource I am buying altcoins I do research to determine which altcoins to invest in. If I trust their project, then I hodl for a long time! Most of people in this forum invest in altcoins, not only BTC.

for now, the development of coins is not good. so for the moment do not buy Altcoin first. buy Bitcoin alone because the price is more stable.

Investing only in BTC may not become profitable as investing in Alt coins. Btc won't rise 2x or 5x in short period as a lot of alt's easy can do. That's main reason not investing only in alt's

I keep a small portion (20% or something) of BTC just to hedge against BTC runs. Don't really like it as an investment though.

Bitcoin always create opportunity for savvy investor to scoop all the quality altcoin at lower price. As bitcoin goes up ofwhich happens most of the time, you see altcoin prces plummet and that create buying opportunity for future profit!

Price of altcoin doesn't matter if but it is all about the quality of altcoin in the long run in crypto to outside crypto. Altcoins is created for a unique platform and uses inside and outside crypto world. Yes, still I will buy for investment in my future.

my recommendation is ethereum because ethereum is widely used as a platform for ICO projects
