Anyone heard of them?  Plan on ordering from them?  I have been watching them for a few weeks now and it seems like a good choice, but I am not 100%.  7btc for 18ghs seems pretty good.  They are beginning to take pre-orders next week, and I am very tempted to put one in at that price but I am wary of ending up in the same position as a lot of folks who ordered BFL.  Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on them or if I have been the only one looking at their page / getting their emails?  Grin  Right now I am torn between adding GPUs for scrypt mining or waiting on a pre-order for one of these guys.  They claim delivery will start within 2 months.  What do you think?

Considering the K16 design has NOT been finalized by Bkkcoins, I think Terrahash accepting pre-orders is premature at best.

Other threads that have offered assembly with people's own chips have not (as of this writing), accepted money from anybody for assembly services.

I'm not asking anybody for pre-orders, and I have more posts than Terrahash and joined the forum slightly before they did ( I think).

Maybe I'll start an ASIC assembly company and ask people for money too. Of course, I'll have to make a slicker website... Grin

Post count isn't everything. Heck, I have more posts than you, and I'm an idiot sometimes. TerraHash has few posts, but that's cuz they're all on topic concerning his thread, or the Klondike project.

For the longest time, they did not accept pre-orders or any money of any kind. The only reason they recently starting taking pre-orders was because people were practically begging him to take their money to ensure 1st batch slots. My understanding was that those pre-order money would go towards purchasing a 2nd batch of Avalon chips, so they could shorten the down period if when they sell out of the 1st batch of orders.

You cant be too cautions, but not too many people who have looked into them seriously think they are a scam.

I've been watching them for some weeks and they seem very legit, plus they have an office in the US and will accept paypal as payment.
Yesterday I got an email from them saying they will open pre-orders on the 18th for people who have previously registered an account with them.
I will be ordering some units if I get some people interested in a group buy at 1B/share. Probably another group buy at 0.5B/share for "poor" people to get the chance to come onboard as well.
Transactions will be done using escrow for everyone's peace of mind.
Anyone interested?

Buy one on Ebay, before all the pre-orders even. Nice to know that people are really reputable around here. /sarcasm off

I'm not opposed to people making money, but this is way too blatant.
