If you're a beginner, I recommend you follow this board for awhile, it is good for Beginners as you will see posts that will address concerns and questions that you may have. You can view those discussions, and participate in them yourself, which will help you grow in your knowledge. As your knowledge grows, your confidence in what you are doing will grow.
Perhaps the general Bitcoin thread, as it contains good information on new technology. Currently, the Zeitgeiest of the moment is the upcoming
Segwit2x fork. It is a good opportunity to learn about some of the fundamentals of Bitcoin, and blockchain technology, and why this hard fork is so important and what it means.
Personally, I advise you to do a lot of reading. Just explore threads, posts, and read to your heart's content. It takes time and persistence to become competent in a new skill. I can't remember what it is, I think it's 10,000 hours to become a master in any skill? Not sure on the numbers there.
If you're here to make money, be very wary of any who offer things for free, investing advice, alt-coin promotions, ICO's, etc.
If it sounds too good to be true, believe me it is. I've lost money trying to follow Pump and Dump groups, worrying about profit, before I realized that there's an inner circle that profits off of the mistakes and foolishness of newbies. It's just like playing poker, good players take money from bad players.
