I'm wondering how that will work out given the increase in difficulty.  I know it's a mining 'experience' but they still give an estimated hashrate based on device.

For instance, according to what I'm seeing, I've been mining around 900h/s for 18 hours and have acquired 70 coins.  If the metrics available are to be trusted.  Compared to 24 hours ago where I was getting about 100 per hour.

That is correct. It's top volume at Cryptopia in BTC and LTC market (beats the second place coin by 3X) and the tokens from the ICO haven't even been released yet! Once they release, I think that volume will shoot up 10X, maybe up to 100X from the number 2 coin. This is insane! Good outlook for hodlers. It's a shame they haven't sorted out the wallet issues, but based on this little preview, if we play it right, we'll get BIG returns on this coin. You have to have the stomach to wait though. Once they release the wallets, thousands of dumbfounded dipshits will go dump their coins right away and bring the price down. Once they're out of the way, we can bring it back up by HODLING!

once its released, i doubt the price will still go up but maybe once they proved mining can't be abused by using a powerful device than mobile phones. ICO price was just a cent, i guess there will be a lot of dumpers and i'd wait for that to happen before i rethink about getting into ETN.

I bought in during the ICO and the value of what i bought then is now worth 10 times the original (based on cryptopia at the time of writing). Nice ICO so far right? However, the sad part is nobody has access to their ICO wallet and only miners and devs are selling their ETN.

As the recent hype of the bitcoin and i will be believing with your expectation about the future of the easy mine will be dropping a lot in its price. Because that will be difficult to avoid the bitcoin's impact.
The more people are interested to hold the bitcoin and try to bet on the bitcoin futures which already planned by CME group.
And another bad thing the hardfork of the bitcoin is near.

Yes, I guess it is do to specific character of this project. It is crucial for Electroneum success to have a working app which people will actually use. People have to download, test and get involved into the game they will offer. Current price is some 7 cents but it is based solely on trading on one not really famous market. We have to be patient and I guess it will take a few days before we can even start judging whether the project fulfills its mission successfully.

It is not the first coin that you can mine on mobile phone. There are apps that can let you mine plenty of different coins. I used to use NeoNeonMiner app on my old galaxy.

The algorithm is Cryptonight and mining difficulty has increased to the point that I cannot use my spare laptop to mine this coin. Now the question is, will mining on phone will get you any coins at all?

I believe that like what most others has said, the coins that is bought during ICO is not released yet. This is why the coins is so expensive now.

With the current price and supply, it would result 2.1B marketcap which will be Top 5 coins.
Once ICO coins are released, it will drop lower imo.

The 50% bonus for people who got in early is a huge boost, so i expect a big price drop when ICO token release
