I am mining on suprnova and I am getting the following message, any ideas ?

05/30/18-22:26:56 - SHARE FOUND (target 5000) - (THR 0 of 3)
Share rejected (640 ms)!
{"id":4,"jsonrpc":"2.0","error":{"code":-1,"message":"Lowdifficultyshare"}}

supernova appears to be on the old chain. what miner are you using? what algo are you trying to mine with? cryptonight or v7?

Well, being as we have forked I switched to V7 with Claymore on suprnova and that did not work.

The pools had bloody ages to switch and they are just lazy!

I wonder how many pools have yet to switch?

Anyone knows how difficult adjustment works in ETN?

ETN is a Monero fork. Maybe it is the same way it works in Monero. In Monero, the diff is calculated over the Network Hashrate average of the last 500 blocks (I am almost sure).

That's why Monero V7 fork took about 4 days to completelly adjusts difficulty.

I thought I saw something about 390 blocks for difficulty adjustment, but I was only half reading, and now can't find where I saw that....

It is going to take a lot of days for the difficulty adjustment... I have started to mine ETN. I don't think it is going to be profitable, but it will help the network a little.

On reddit someone stated that ETN has taken the same approach as Monero and so 4 days of chaos.

This good. It shows that nearly the whole network was asics. They should have reset the diff. Though
Monero diff was way less.when they forked and it took the best part of a day to lower. It will take a day or two for ETN. Be paitent it will be way more profitable now the asics are gone.

Small fee charged so factor that in. Still surprised Cryptopia is the only one dealing with this now, they must have had a ton of new regs and fees from this. Got them on the map too. Small exchange by world standards in a 300k city Christchurch all the way over in New Zealand. Would be awesome to see how many they signed on, good business decision to fast rail the listing.

https://etn.nanopool.org

this pool is on cryptonight_v7 so if u want to mine on the new blockchain, u can use nanopool. So put ur miners to nanopool till other pools are ready with the fork.

With 62000 khs at 180 million difficulty. Nano pool should at least get 1 block every 1-2 hours

why no block at all  Huh Grin Huh

It's at 25,000kh/s which is nothing for 180,000,000 difficulty (1.5Gh/s Net Hash). That's 1/60 of the old network hash.

Mining this coin like this is a meme. You guys go ahead and burn your electricity I'll hop in when it's all sorted out. Someone is losing big $$ burning away electricity/BTC trying to find a block to fix the developers incompetence waiting this long to fork lmao.

What's happened with Electronerum network at the block planned for hardfork?
Has the network been stable yet?
Has it been safe to move my coins at the moment?

network is still hunting for block 307501, network will take some time (days) to adjust to new hashrate. I'd not move coins yet personally.

I'll help.  I'll mine 570 H/s till difficulty gets down to where it should be.

Not happy about this messed up fork, but helping because I have transactions on the blockchain.

From FB:

Mining Pool Owners & GPU Miners - We need YOUR help!
Earn extra ETN reward over the next 26 blocks!
The Electroneum blockchain forked at block 307500 today. As you are aware, the time it takes to mine blocks should be approximately every 2 minutes. Due to the extremely high difficulty caused by previously having ASICs on the network, blocks are taking substantially longer than usual (hours rather than minutes) while the network adjusts.
Firstly, we want to thank the community, our miners and the mining pools in continuing to support the network while we get through these difficult blocks.
However, we are not happy with the low returns our miners are receiving right now, so as a gesture to thank everyone who continues to support us, we will be supplementing the next 26 block rewards by with an ETN bonus (see below). This offer will run for blocks 307501 - 307527.
Mined under an hour 200,000 ETN bonus
1 - 2 hours 150,000 ETN bonus
2 - 3 hours 100,000 ETN bonus
3 - 4 hours 50,000 ETN bonus
So how will this work? After each block is mined, the pool which successfully receives the block reward should contact the team by opening a support ticket (support.electroneum.com) with subject "BLOCK REWARD". They MUST include the public key (ETN wallet address) and view key of the address which successfully mined the block so that we can verify they are indeed the owners. We will check the block time of each mined block and send out the appropriate amount to the public key provided.
Can you please contact your users to let them know it's well worth their while getting back online, and let your users know how to change the algorithm on their software to mine with MoneroV7 or Cryptonight_V7
Again, we wish to thank everyone for continuing to support the ETN network
Have a great day!
Richard.
PS We've had over 40MH/s running on Nanopool for the last couple of hours so we must be extremely close to mining block 307501.
PPS - Please be patient with ETN transactions at this time - once we get past these difficult blocks our blockchain will be considerably more efficient.
