Logically they should have given option to people with reasonable time limit to withdraw their tokens if they don't want to go through KYC to keep the relation of trust up. Now that didn't happen so KYC is only way to access your tokens but that app to use the verification process is secure and safe. I have looked at it and looks good need to be worried about its usage. Instant payments are impression and will change the project totally.

Yes, proper annoucement before implementing KYC should be made, but it's nothing new that centralized app/exchange is doing it without any warning. I have seen it many times already, and this is the reason I wasn't holding my ETN coins there. It's better to move them to a real wallet with private keys you own.

@stfN2128

If nothing has change recently, there is only command line wallet with daemon. No official GUI light wallet unfortunately, so if you want to store coins safely, you need to download the whole Electroneum blockchain and learn a few commands (nothing particularly difficult tho).

Thx for your fast response.

I'm not really firm with cli-wallets. So i will hold it on the webwallet. If kyc is necessary anytime...i will do it... Roll Eyes

Fun because the Electroneum price continues to rise and today is a big record because it rose more than 32%, this is a good sign that ETN is soon recovering, buying now is a profitable thing and good for future.

There was a warning, you just don't follow the coin properly.

etn is -96.92% from ath, so this 32% are not really notable Wink but i also hope for ongoing recovering. fingers crossed

Well, it is not true that identification works in any way. It looks like a scam, this ETN - my account is in the We will be back soon mode even though I have entered my personal details there and the verification field disappeared. I came to my wallet because there was a 60%+ pump today, so I wanted to withdraw. And I couldn't access my coins, I still can't!!! Unbelievable, why scam your followers like this, Electroneum?Huh Scammers!!! Give me my access to my coins!!! There was no warning about this integration either. I will run as fast as I can after/if my access is restored. Unbelievable.
For how long has it been like this, a few days?

Why not find out what really happened before you accuse them of scamming? I swear, you newbies have no patience. If you think it's a scam, do some research before you open your mouth...

I have been around the crypto market for over a year now, so I am hardly a newbe here. Whatever they are doing, you find it perfectly normal that a user cannot access his coins for some days now, in his own wallet? Without a proper notice (any notice whatsoever in fact!) in advance? Come on!!! You can't be serious. I own many altcoins and it is the first time ever something like this happens to me! I own Electroneum coins and I cannot even access them! During a 60% pump when I want to sell them! What is this if it is not a scam? You have a name for this? I am all ears. A ruse? A swindle? How can I trust Electroneum after all this? My trust has been shattered beyond repair now. All I want is to get my access back and to sell these ETN shitcoins asap.

Did you try uninstalling the app and downloading the latest version again from the playstore? Did you try log into your wallet through the website on a computer instead of on your phone? Both are working perfectly for me.

I am using it on the computer, not on the phone. Why should I uninstall it and install it again if they are saying "We will be back soon"Huh? Is it really my problem now that they do all this to me?Huh It feels like getting robbed at gun point because I could not sell on the rise when I wanted to today. Even if they restore my access I cannot trust them anymore.
Update: have just checked it again, it works fine now. But who can guarantee me they will not pull this trick again during another pump??? I have lost 30% of value because of this!!!

I just tried it there now as we speak on my laptop and its working fine for me. https://my.electroneum.com/ with Firefox browser, no problems whatsoever. That message was up last week when they were testing the payment system but its not there now on my phone app or laptop. Try clearing the cache and cookies or a different browser? I don't know mate I'm just making suggestions and trying to help. Or try it on the app on your phone see if it still the same on there?

UPDATE: Glad you got it sorted!

It is not me who got it sorted, it is them who gave the access back to me. After I lost 30% of value. Besides, now they want something like full identity verification in the near future. Ridiculous.

You think that they blocked you from selling your coins today during the pump and left the rest of our accounts alone? Lol come on man. My account has been fine all along.

I didn't clean any cookies though. So, I assume they blocked-restored access to everyone.

I don't know mate but mine was fine all day.  I'd hang tough a little while longer to sell if I were you. The price is still up on yesterday and I reckon we'll see another increase as soon as they push the marketing etc but up to you, its your money.

No, I think I have a genuine concern, mate. You don't know how much I have there, but losing 30% was tough. Maybe it is your monthly salary, for all I know, buddy.
