The mobile mining is an airdrop.

How much can one make per day in mobile with around 30H/s at the moment? Not using the app for some time now

It's about 3-6 ETN per day depending on your CPU of smartphone but it seems nobody mines ETN on the mobile phone because it's not worth mining on smartphone and it's running out of battery quickly.

I don't know what kind of mobile phone you have, but before the rise in price you would get 10 in 2 days and now it takes almostna week to get 10 coins.

There is no overheating or battery drain of any kind. Also the number of active "miners" on the phone has grown in recent times again so I don't know what in the world you are talking about.

I mine about 7-10 ETN in 24h period on my samsung A3 2015. So i don't know what shitty phone you mine on. And my a3 is no special.

Is this coin ever going to get listed on a major exchange? Is the team considering something in that direction or you have simply let go of that idea?

I think now with the KYC implementation that is more likely since most major exchanges may have this requirement.

What do you exactly mean? I don't understand the connection between KYC for exchanges and getting listed on a bigger one? Cuz for the past couple of months I saw many other coins, which have a lot less reputation or whatever you call it get listed on Bitttrex and Binance Cheesy

What does KYC for customers have in common with ETN getting listed on a bigger exchange?

Nothing, correct.  Roll Eyes

This has absolutely nothing to do with an exchange listing. Maybe it's a way safer for shops and so on. But on the other hand, you can still buy electroneum on exchanges without kyc and you don't need a verification if you use the cli wallet :S

Exactly that is that KYC implementation is not to make it list on big exchanges if you look over the recent updates they want to make it online payment processor like Paypal. That's why they are forcing holders to pass the KYC process if they have plan to keep for long term.

I am not worried about Electroneum regarding promotion and marketing, Richard is expert in those fields. But I agree that team should also focus on listing on new, big exchanges, releasing official standalone wallet for Win/iOS/Linux, and maybe Trezor/Ledger integration for safe storing, cause it is essentials for cryptocurrencies like ETN.

They will never make a desktop wallet since they wish to drive as many people as possible to their proprietary web and mobile wallets.

@CharlieCox

I hope you are wrong... After all this is crypto space, and many people will never use centralized app to keep their coins, including me. I adhere to the principle that if you don't have private keys and seed for wallet, you don't really own the coins.

Exactly, so the only option to safely store ETN is the CLI wallet at the moment. However, the ETN team have promised a GUI desktop wallet if they raise at least $10M during the ICO. But they have also put this promise in the white-paper and we all know how that ended:

Quote
We have deliberately avoided using
a blockchain that can be mined with
super powerful ASICs (the way all
Bitcoin are mined) and created a
blockchain that can be mined with
CPUs, which enables the AVERAGE
person to get involved.

We'll see...

There is no premine is this project you should read the whitepaper or join the telegram to get more information about this concept. They offered to sell in ICO long time and rest the amount kept for mining purpose.

I'm totally against KYC but some big exchanges might like this as most of them have also a KYC policy for the dev team of a coin that wants to be listed.

The recent price jump up was possible partly because of the blocking of coins in the web wallets of users who now have to go through KYC to access their funds.

But do you think that would cause such a massive price surge? It was quite an extreme jump.
I think it's unreasonable to freeze investors' funds in a web application. Many were not in the forefront of future innovations with KYC, I believe that now many of them no longer trust their web wallet funds and will look for an alternative.

Yes but we aren't talking about a dump, but about a price jump. Wouldn't it be more logical that there is a dump if funds get released after a long period of time?

Exchanges have their own policies and rules with KYC and tokens have zero impact on them, whether they have internal kyc implementation or not. Electroneum is entering in micro payments filed with instant transfers in order to meet the requirements of businesses they are doing every necessary step to make sure of everything working flawlessly. This introduction kyc should be watched in regards to micro payments than listing on more exchanges.

agreed, KYC will have a big impact on micropayments so ETN needs to comply.

Please dont mind my reputation. i made a mistake of selling my account. i dont even know that selling of account is prohibited. its my fault cause i dont read the rules
